For being Veterans TV, l'm kinda surprised you didn't show the RHF (2SCOTS) P&D's, they may not have been grade one, but at least they're serving soldiers and many with deployments.

No. This is the Royal Regiment of Scotland. All Scottish Regiments were consolidated into one some years ago. Although they try to keep their individual identity they are known simply as ' The Royal Regiment of Scotland '.

@@veterans-tv Thanks, but it doesn't give any indication on their FB page as to where they are based. I'm guessing Northern Ireland, maybe ? - I think there's a place there called Macanta.

When theirs traditions that are as put together with the utmost care and thought as long as 4 Scots The Highlanders are playing my favourite pipe tune that they’ve played is Bloody Fields of Flanders. I’ve seen the 2011 Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the 2022 one My mum really likes the sound of the Massed pipes & drums. From Drew

Lovely march off tune. The Australian ladies pipeband is the tune . Very fitting given the comps in Perth in the land down under 😊
