actually that happens sometimes in life that they take their time to complete the hireing process especially the bigger companies that are among us and if that's the case it would be always helpful to know how does it look like for you to get the post right now or whether they have already decided which one them they pick, whatever just to know whether you can still hope for getting the post or not, you've set up a good example in that vid, little flame😊

Major setback is not knowing what I should ask for as pay 🫠 - I've been extremely lucky with work and what I was paid, but now I don't know what to say when asked, because my previous jobs has always been fair pay already. Great tip on replying and saying thanks. It always sets your mind a bit at ease. I will have to remember to add that I am open in the future for work. Thanks for this. [🤏🏼🔥]
@LittleFlame93Ай бұрын
I find I always ask for higher numbers. Straight up ask for an increase of 5k+ or 10k+ annually from what you are getting paid and say this is what I'm getting paid right now and would like to keep that amount. Usually I find they never reject a candidate regarding pay. If you don't match what they are looking for price wise, they will ask you if you accept a lower offer. It's great to test out the waters 🌊Thanks for watching my video! 🔥🙂

or maybe people could actually get some skill and learn to create elements and layouts themselves... anyone who calls themselves a designer and uses stuff like this is not a designer, they are just a lazy idiot with computer
@beepbeepteehee2 ай бұрын
thank you for validating design work made with canva! how could there be shame in utilizing a useful graphic design tool? no shame for my part! <3 great video, and as always.. love your eye for composition and aesthetics.
@LittleFlame932 ай бұрын
why of course! I think Canva for sure is a useful tool for Graphic Designers! Makes things easier, and helps to boost creativity! So glad you enjoyed my video💕
@ANUBASS2 ай бұрын
if you was ashamed your work would improve tenfold why would you want to rip and copy templates and elements when you could actually learn something and figure out how to create things from scratch, you know like a designer is supposed to? if you cant take something from your head, put it on paper, then create it on the software from scratch you aren't a designer, just an idiot with a computer roleplaying
@beepbeepteehee2 ай бұрын
@@ANUBASS you good lil bro? why do you care if some people use canva? not everyone uses the templates or even the elements!! As a designer, I use canva for things like quick alignment, drafting design concepts for clients, i bring my own graphic designs in as uploads, can save as multiple file types and do all sorts of stuff. Are you in some way threatened that you need to dictate what other people use or do? Or do you just need to bash other creatives for the vehicle they use to get to a specific design goal? you seem super negative. that's all I see.

I found this genuinely so interesting, I'm currently redesigning my portfolio to jump back into graphic design after a long hiatus (left a toxic job and been in a different industry since). My only critique is with the phone mockup in the final image you are able to see the rectangular edges of the image clipping into the phone very faintly. To avoid this you can use a clipping mask when placing the image in the smart layer so it'll fit the mockup perfectly. 🥰 Otherwise I did pick up a lot of interesting tips and tricks that I didn't know. Please keep posting. 😊

Canva is a life saver and can help both the designers and businesses. IMO you still need brand cohesiveness and for that, a graphic designer will always be needed.

I've played with Canva a little and I just made something basic. I was very limited because I just used the free option so I didn't know it was capable of all these neat designs. I moved onto using Photopea for my future thumbnails but it's nice seeing all these different designs Canva can do in this video. Really impressive looking custom made pictures.
