Had a lot of memories at the Colosseum as a kid all the way through adulthood. We use to take Bart from Berkeley to buy the cheap seats on the bleachers before they built Mount Davis. I was in third grade when my mom took me and my sis out of school to go see Rickey steal his 939 against the Yankees. Then dad bought tickets in 95’ through 2005 to the Raider games. Gonna miss going there. When the GoldGate fields had shut down I was somehow hoping for a glimmer of hope they would have looked into purchasing that spot for them. Oh well… I’m just glad I had the opportunity to be there for all of those memories. ✌🏽

Say what you want about it. Yes its ran down and filthy and has major issues. These hve been issues for a long time and i think people shoulda k ew all along what the plan was gonna be. Kaval came in to try and lower the flames by connecting and doing things to make everyone more calm and he did just that. They turned there backs on all of oakland and now a relic will stand empty and or demolished. Its sad. This took maybe a hero or two to stand up and make this happen and keep them in oakland where they belong. Let vegas have an expansion team.
