Thank you i just put a T9550 in my vostro 1520 cost me next to nothing from China seen a big improvement even with only 2GB of ram installed. It's good enough for recording multi track music this laptop works great with saffire pro 40 and a Yamaha N12 The Firewire port has no problems with audio devices

Here is a trick (some model railroaders do this especially when masking striping for passenger cars) for a clean edge and especially to prevent paint from the second color from bleeding under the edge of the tape onto the first color. After masking, first spray along the edge with the color you just masked over. This creates a seal at the edge of the masking tape of the color that is under the tape. Then paint the contrasting color. Then remove the tape. This can be especially useful if masking a surface that has some texture.

Hello, very good job! Did you use even a primer before painting and which spray have you used? Thanks!
@trainliker100
@trainliker100 Жыл бұрын
A very good primer for such things, if you are fine with a rattle can, is Tamiya fine surface primer. A lot of plastic kit builders use it. Depending on paint type, you don't necessarily need a primer. For example, if you use a solvent based paint like Tru-Color it should bond to the plastic just fine. But a solvent based paint can also damage the plastic if applied to wet. Often, skilled modelers use an airbrush for painting plastic with solvent based paints so they get better control.

The TV is completely unnecessary. There is already thermal noise within the image sensor. You could put a lens cap on the camera and it would still work.

How random is this random number? There looks to be a periodicity in the static and the left edge look to have a higher frequency than the rest. Does it make any practical difference, I don't know, just an observation. Performancewise, isn't there a direct conversion from an 8 bit image to a BMP, i.e. save as "static.bmp". At the very, I think using eval and writing directly to a file buffer would be faster than nested while loops and string concatenation.

Such a nice and oddly satisfying video. Nice music choice and cut. Thank you so much for uploading. Now I want to have this model, too. P.S.: you can use the letter "R" from the strange "Reset"-label to make the "NIKKO" a real "NIKKOR" lens... ;-)

it does not make any sense why you covered the faceplate in tape, painted, then covered the outsides with tape, painted. At the start it didn't matter if you got any black on the outsides as you would paint over it with silver anyway.

If you plug pretty much any source of raw random data into a hashing function (or write directly to /dev/random) then you have a hardware random number generator. For example if you plugged in a raw rgb byte array of a direct camera stream from a lava lamp (or static from a tv) you get high quality randomness.

I found a mighyohm user that is uploading to SafeCast. That site was created to crowd source & track radiation around Fukushima. It’s still up and running and now has users around the world. I might give that a try but if someone already has the code I’d appreciate it if they would be willing to share.

The speaking Clock, London U.K. Early 1960, Tuesday night was, Ball Room Dancing Nighte at the Hammersmith Palsy, I was a two year ball room dancer. Only well dressed people did ball room dancing, I had noticed an attractive young woman a year or two younger than me, I was from the rough part of town, You would know by the way I spoke, She had a polished grammar school accent, I wore a darke tailer made suit, She wore a very well made dress, Put to gether by a seamstress, So the speeking clock is talking to me, And she accepts my invertaytion to dance, Do you come heer-often was her first remark, So I answered her question, Once or twice a month, And left it at that, I was not comfortable with small talk. Then she asked, Do you use the talking clock on the telephone, By this time I new what was combing, Yes that's me she said, Small talk was all She had, I gatherd listening to her self on the phone was her favorite hobby, It's an unkind thing to say, But there you are.
