I haven’t understand how the configuration of a cis bond changes to trans bond by partial hydrogenation. Can someone explain?

Here is the answer to the third question: As you know Ammonium carbonate is an ionic compound that dissociates in water into its ions: (NH4)2CO3--- 2NH4+(plus ion) + CO3( 2minus ion) Then calculate the number of moles of each ion like: For 0.50 moles of (NH4)2CO3 NH4= 2*0.50= 1.00 CO3= 0.50*1= 0.50 Now, total (NH4)2C03=(1.00=0.50)=1.50 then, Calculate the number of ions: 1.50*6.023*10^23= 9.03*10^23 ions. N.B: ( Feel free you try this, my typing is damn tho)

Sir, I don't understand how graphite is a good conductor because it has delocalised electrons, but then molecules with delocalised electrons are poor conductors?
@MSJChem
@MSJChem Ай бұрын
In graphite the mobile electrons can move throughout the layers. But in molecules the mobile electrons are confined to within the molecule.

7:25 in the condensed electron configuration, we just look at the electron configuration that continues after the noble gas? for example, if we are searching for the highest occupied energy level we just look at the part after the condensed noble gas..?
