Still dont understand. Traxxas says the drivetrain can handle 3s. There is no written it need upgrades.

They should have designed it to already handle both 3s and 2s out of the box. They just want to be able to sell more parts to fix or upgrade the weaker parts. They should design these to make them as durable as possible to start, not design them with weak parts that break easily. Which they already know because of the upgrade parts available. That’s how they get you to spend more $$$. Their business model… 😮

There will be fixes for diff problems. Either through traxxas or the aftermarket.

They have already addressed the differential issues by stating that you can put other 1:10 Traxxas diffs from the slash 4x4 and stampede 4x4 into it without any modification

Just picked one up for my nephew, looks pretty cool! For this size I don’t even know why someone would want to run 3s…lol might have to pick one up for myself at some point though!

I also think the reason those parts are upgrades instead of in the truck to begin with is so they could hit the price point, the battery is $40 and that’s probably a $20-25 charger. They’d be charging at least $350 without those if they included the upgrade parts and a lot of people are getting these for their kids and won’t care about 3s. I know a lot of people will run other batteries that are cheaper too but I’ve always been very happy with my Traxxas batteries and their warranty on them is great! I’ve replaced a bunch of old Traxxas batteries and it’s really simple!

@@mikes062IDK about that. When you look at Arrma, they have their base model 2s brushed Grom and box BLX3s versions of their short course and buggy. Not to mention you get a bunch of upgraded parts on top of a brushless system buying the BLX3 for only $80 more with battery and charger still included.

I'm designing a rubber band plane to give out to my nieces and nephews using a laser cutter- much more simple than this but I need to understand how to balance the plane initially- it'll take a lot of revisions no doubt to get it all right but I think this Tutorial will help me minimize how much material I waste in the design process. 2024 here, Anybody have a fix for a blinking green light on the AUDIO box? No sound, everything hooked up right, I'd love to hear this unit again, and of course if you put into oogle "blinking green oba" every article is about the esc and not the audio unit

Hello , Maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong ? The upper blade does not turn I,Tried reversing them and it worked fine so I know its not the motor . I messed with the Main Motor Proportional Mix Trimming Pot and it seems like that's when I stared having this problem . What's your opinion ?
