I kinda don’t like the sound. To each his own but.. That’s just not the P bass sound. The honk and gibby blurp have turned into a buzz saw. Just not for me.

Don't forget ULTRA BURST! kinda like ultra burst more than texas tea.
@haus0528 күн бұрын
im sorta on the fence though... to me a P bass just has a P Bass pickup... adding that J bass pickup makes it not a P Bass IMHO
@AJett3528 күн бұрын
@haus05 Yeah just becomes a PJ to me. Not a true P and not something I think I'd like due to me playing behind the split coil right where the J pickup would be. I think I'd rather a Jazz body with a PJ.

Almost 2 grand? No thanks Fender. I have 3 MIM Fender basses I picked up a Sire V3 2nd generation that blew me away . I just ordered a Sire P7 for 649 dollars that has almost all the same features. Moving on Fender.

I really like the colors of these models and the pick guards too. I actually prefer the noiseless pickups on my Eric Clapton Strat and vintage style tuners, but would guess these are not noiseless pickups.

They actually are Noiseless pickups!

Im digging the new colours too.

Beautiful guitars. Hate the S-1 problem switch. Also, nobody mentioned the pickups. Hope they aren't the noiseless. Maybe a deep C on the strat would be nice.

Nice, BUT! Nothing like a Rickenbacker 360/12, Especially if you can find one from the mid - '60s, a 1964 model like George Harrison had. And don't forget a VOX AC - 30..........👀👍

The J40 is my number one. Ive had many martins, gibsons, taylors, and other brands. While I love my 28, the J40 can do it all and still surprises me every time I take it out of the case.

The K24 ce BE have more headroom, and sustain. Sound is more impressive and it’s a long-term nature of a sound investment. It will be better and better.

Martin D-28 or D-35? Can't decide between the two. Does the 3 piece back in the D-35 change the tone? Isn't it better to have a few pieces as possible in the guitar?

Both are amazing guitar and same quality, but if you are looking for an old Martin sound: maybe the Bourgeois is more appropriate
