Sure I saw them in the Greyhound, Hammersmith in 1981, their gig list doesn't mention it.

The Lurkers were the side of punk that very rarely gets written about. There are books galore on the philosophy etc of punk, sadly most missed the bit which was the best part of being a punk back in the late 70s .......F U N and the Lurkers excelled in F U N.

"Born Without A Face" - Great name for a band. Have you any obscure European Oi! Comps? The second song sounds so familar, music wise.

Always a joy to have some Lurkers 🥸 They were one of the few bands to make frequent visits to Belfast and I made sure to attend. Lovely guys, too - they even made time for my pal and I to meet them over breakfast and sign all of our singles, flexi's and the album (only Fulham Fallout had been released at the time).

Have you ever heard of a band called Twist, they had a song callled "this is your life"? I came across their album years ago. They kind of remind me of The Cars. Not too much Punk going on but they were very odd. They did a mental cover of "house of the rising sun". Anyway thanks for Cardiacs stuff.

younger generation is a good song but younger people or youthful minded people are terrible, i hated kids/teenagers/immature people when i was one&8 still do. other people's immaturity being forced onto you for so long can bring it out in you unfortunately, some people don't stop themselves because life is boring without conflict or "adventure" to some people. a lot of people are uncomfortable with silence/boredom etc because it leaves them in their own minds& a lot of people don't like that, even with "distractions" i can't escape my own mind &even with silence i can't escape other peoples minds. sometimes i'll hear portions of a conversation in other people's voices &no ones around making their bullshit noise or talking, i'll be trying to sleep &hear voices in my ear that's on the pillow. i'm not always recalling a conversation or memory either, it's something totally random that has something to do with something that's recently happened. it's annoying.

i love the man who introduced me to this band.*(i was told he died by a train but i don't know if that is true because i was told by someone who lied about me to others multiple times, he forced himself&his friendship into my life&i've hated him ever since. even after finding out things about the man that i love that i don't like, i still love him like i did when i met him. i always will, Øystein Euronymous Aarseth too.)
