I hate hotel rooms that don't work. It is as if the construction people just looked at a picture of what a hotel room would be but don't understand how a human person would use it. the doors open the wrong way, the light switch for a part of the room is hidden behind a wardrobe, usb plugs are too far away and or hidden behind a panel and only discovered the morning of checkout (that happened to me in a hotel in Manila, Philippine, shower didn't slant enough so the water filled up the tray.

I love the fact that you are taking advantage of having a base in Thailand and being able to fly to other SE Asian countries quickly and at an affordable price. I went to Kuala Lumpur for my Birthday last year. I splashed out on a corner condo so I had a great view of the Petronas towers (sent a postcard home to my mum - it took 3 weeks to get there 😆) on one side and the weird tower thing on the other side. The evening view was amazing! The view from the rooftop pool was spectacular (I swam badly and slowly and took lots of pictures). Heat was crazy! (I had to delete a lot of picture that had sweat pouring off my face😆). Batu Caves were great! Food was good. Pavements!! I really appreciated the pavements 😂

The big spoon is actually called Serving Spoon which supposedly to be used as a spoon to scoop the dish of your choice onto your personal plate. That spoon/laddle is a part of communal utensil to used by everyone else at the table. Even if you are alone…that spoon not suppose to go into your mouth.

14:16 people were whispering in saying… Why did she put the steamed basmati rice into the curry? Should be the other way around. Rice as a main which other dishes are supplementary mains which should accompany the rice as a side dish. By putting the rice into that huge bowl of curry…you hv done injustice to the whole experience to eating Asian food. Huhuhu. The waiter should have advised how to eat. Hahaha
