Have had my Zager ZAD 900CE for about 4 months (it's now Dec. 2024) and had my luthier check it out and it sounds wonderful and about as easy to play as you can expect. I also bought a very high end Taylor and Martin in the last two months as well as the amazing Yamaha TAG3 C but I still love playing the Zager! I unabashedly love the bling as I love to look at guitars as much as I like to play them. I am 71 years young.

I picked up one of their dreads at Morrels in Bristol TN...it BLEW MY MIND. I play a custom shop Martin...I love her...and am trying to figure out how to get my hands on an electric...but now I have to have a Recording King as well. Great, great vid. This guy is terrific. Thanks.

I have both 900s, the natural and the sunburst. I love them. Better than my old D35.
Sounds wonderful, Cyndi! I had a failed basal thumb surgery. My doc said I could play a uke, but I have no interest. Do you think I could play a guitalele? Thank you!
@CyndiCraven3 ай бұрын
Hi Anne! Sorry the surgery didn't work. Can I assume you already play guitar? If so, I believe a guitalele would be easier.

What is the "beeper"?
@damond28034 ай бұрын
Beeper - Sound under the verbatim graphics, ie graphics which show the words that are being said on tape. This is generally used during phone interviews, 911 calls or any time you have bad, but relevant, audio. (Taken from WPRNY website)

In CNN lingo, a beeper is any interview or report that is being done by telephone.

Best sounding Zager video I have seen, beautiful tone & playing. What amp are you using?
@wilhodge13127 ай бұрын
I use a Fishman Tonedeq (Tone Deck) live. It has wonderful accuracy with effects and a soft knee compressor. For the dough it really is a workhorse. My songwriting partner has one also and she swears by it. We use a lot of different guitars, 12 strings and such, and the Tonedeq is the bomb all around.

The hardest part for these vets is going home, to potentially nothing, no one and no life…..then the government that sent them to fight for their country, desert them when they need the most help. My heart goes out to these young men and women, those that are still fighting the fight, and hope they will get to come home, in good health. The wars will never be won because the terrorists don’t want them to end.

How do you hook them up to the fishman? What kind of cords, etc? I have a TC Helicon play acoustic which should be able to do these things in one but I can't figure out how to hook it up to the box.

The diamond next to the headstock at the end of the neck is called a Volute . It was intended to keep the head stock from breaking off of the neck.

Someone talking about a guitar he likes but isn't just trying to sell to you. I trust this guy. He even spends time on describing the V-shaped neck profile which is a significant feature on this guitar. I've seen about half a dozen or more reviews of this guitar model and none of the others even mentioned this feature issue, so this video is a revelation to me. All in all this seems to be a guitar that will suit me. I once tried a Franklin (top class hand built guitar( with a V-profile neck, and it was amazing. Thanks Barry Billings.
