日本青年館見に行きました。当時高校生でしたが、その後今まで自分のNo.1バンドです。 ライブ直後、この音源が『KINKS ATTACK』というアナログブートで販売されていて購入したのですが、今となってはレアかもしれません。 おぼろげな記憶ですが『Stop your sobbing』の前のレイのアドリブMC、（ライブ終盤で）泣いていた前列のお姉さんに言っていたと思います。 その後の来日で定番となった『Tokyo Song』ですが、ゾンビーズで来日した今は亡きジムロッドフォードがMCで口ずさんでくれて感涙。

Stumbling on this new post today was magical - "....moments to remember all our lives, from the first brief hello to the last goodbye..." Hope it's not goodbye yet for Ray and Dave - this was a great Ray and Band Solo Tour - and since I lost my own audio recordings of show from the Nyc Tri-State area shows, is a magical find!!! Love and health to all the great KInks fans I know and met at so many shows - I'm now a "Twenty FIRST Century man and I don't want to die here....." I have never gotten to see the Kinks Live. Until recently I have never seen video of one of their concerts. Was a fan since Lola came out when I was in middle school. I did buy and listen to albums. I'm shocked at how good they are live.

The Kinks they are the best band ever !

I was 21 at this festival andvwas really surprised at which bands were the best live performers! For me, The Kinks were the best Saturday band (even with the delay) and the best Friday band was The B-52s! Both bands exceeded my expectations!

Thank you for this. I was lucky enough to have seen this back in 88 and loved it. It was a beautiful and great show. Done through Jules Verns "eyes" I was bummed when I found out he wasn't going further with it. I can still see the set, thanks for letting me relive it.

Diese CD ist 1992 erschienen. Die Qualität ist zwar teilweise sehr schlecht aber die Dynamik in den Songs ist fantastisch. Ist meine lieblings CD von den stranglers. Bei den Studios CDs habe ich manchmal das Gefühl das sie sich zu langsam anhören. "Down in the Sewer" z. B. Besonders schön gespielt ist auch der Song "Strange Little Girl". Habe die CD damals in einem Kaufhaus für 10 DM (5 Euro) entdeckt und sofort gekauft. Ein kleines Juwel! Die meisten Songs sind von Complete Musik. 3 Songs sind von Emi Puplishing. ( Wasted, Strange Little Girl und My Young Dreams.

Great recording!! Thanks for posting!! The Kinks are THE BEST !!! I was there and very much remember that guy that was brought up on stage during YRGM to sing with The Kinks. This is a great recording from the Think Visual tour. Thanks again! (In 1987, I was a 15 year old kid from Queens who took a bus via the 42nd Street NY Port Authority Terminal to get to Passaic and back, and it was well worth the trip! Great show!).

I was there. I was hanging out in the lobby and saw Ray walk in the front entrance to the venue wearing a trench coat and hat and no one even noticed him. The Kinks loved to play The Capitol and would drink at a bar behind the venue after the shows. Great times! !

Always, have prefered DD singing this.
