Hi Velanique, newbie in town, I love to find smaller channels that really give honest reviews, not because they are sponsored or have to sell it all, which is what we normal people want to see, like good old School KZbin. Very good review and filming in natural light which gives us a more accurate idea of how everything turned out, I only missed seeing that you wrote down or showed on camera every product you used, such as which powder did you use? and Concealer! hils from Denmark!

Mature woman here - like 70-plus. I ditched using moisturizer and started using Charlotte Tilbury’s Zmagic Hydrator Mist and Smashbox Minimize Pores primer. This combo gave an airbrushed ginish that lasted all day. Haven’t tried this with her primer since I only got a small sample. I love the look now. Before I got way too much shine and my pores looked like craters 😊. Thanks fir the review!

@@sarinaventer4056 thank you for the lovely compliment! So my shampoo I get from the hair salon it's specially for brown hair (Gem lites, brown diamond sunbrown) and then I use a hair mask and leave in conditioner by Lumiére beauty 🩷

@@Velanique.m Yeah, it didn't work for me. Returning it all. BUT it may just have to do with my type of skin! For eg, Ive watched videos by mature women saying IT Cosmetics foundation doesn't work for them and I love it. Hang on and keep trying it is what I'd say. :-D

Estee Lauder double wear (2N1 desert beige) it's full coverage, I usually add a drop or two of jojoba oil for a lighter finish. I love L'Oréal true match nude plumping tinted serum (3-4 light-medium) paired with the loreal 3 second setting mist is what I use pretty much every day. I'm loving this Easy Blur, another good one is Revlon colorstay longwear (005 medium beige) I know that's not 3 but 4... But we need options 😁 right?! Have a super day 🩷

I find this video confusing. At first I thought there was to be a review of Revlon Illuminance Serum Tint, but then the presenter produced what she called "a foundation". Is this the same as the tint? And she added a couple more different products which weren't introduced in a way I could follow properly. This further confused me! Sorry, but to get to know the tint, I'll have to visit it at a department store!

Hello there, thanx for watching! Apologies for the the confusion. I inadvertently called the serum tint a foundation. I performed a 9 hour wear test with the tint (half my face was primed, to see if the primer makes any difference). For me and my combination skin type the tint did not hold up very well, those are the results at the end of the video. In this video I also tested the flex wear concealer (primed one under eye with aquaphor) the concealer did not hold up at all during the day on both sides.

Good to have you back. Thanks for sharing , we do need to talk about menopause more. I also had all the symptoms you have had and I also didn’t want to go onto HRT but I felt so down that I relented and started HRT. It was the best decision I made and I feel so much better now. I think it’s also depressing to see our skin ageing and our bodies changing when in our mind we still feel young. Women are strong and we will get through it.❤

This has been a rough ride so far, but I think if we chat about menopause more openly, it maybe takes the fear out of it, and we can see that what we're going through is normal and natural! All I say is, thank goodness for the patch!! I have my sanity back! 😂I will say that I have been testing a LED face mask... seems to be helping the sagging skin... watch this space xx

Thank you for this review. I tried the Rimmel true match and wanted to try the lasting version. I’ve got textured, dehydrated skin which produces oil to compensate this. Fingers crossed! Shade match sister!!

I have mature skin (72 yo), and I rarely use setting powder over concealer. If I do, it’s only a faint amount on a big, fluffy brush. (I used it recently over Miracle Balm, which is sticky on my skin.) It seems to me that your rather heavy application of powder with a puff, over the concealer, is what made it crease. If you have oily skin probably some light powder is needed, but if not, good concealer alone lasts pretty much all day, at least for me. But I’m on the hunt for something that doesn’t crease on my old skin, plus lasts for at least several hours, and that doesn’t need powder!

Same result 🙄 I've also not set it at all, and it settles into my fine lines...I see Fetnty have released a newer one, I'll have to see if that one fairs any better... I did do a review on some more affordable brands, and found 2 that worked quite well... Have a super day further ❤️
