My friends and I had a long discussion about this over ramen and for them to aim for Tokyo Dome is they need to reunite with 48G first. Become the benchmark of idols as they are. They're slowly rekindling interactions with 48Gs, and even had interactions with Nogizaka Rival Bokuao yesterday, this is big. Rival of a Rival = a friend so lol. NMB48 theatre Kaneko visiting the new AKB theater etc. They can't live in the shadow of the past because if you think about it, if you put the past members with the current lineup at their age would it look good? Nope, that was that era. Now as for Tokyo Dome it gets complicated, you can count out the fans of Kami 7 era that are just stuck in the old ways, I've been a fan since 2010 but a fan of the concept and progress of the members and how they carry themselves. So from then I've seen the decline sure, but I saw the adaptation and survival even when hitting rock bottom, so that's what kept me hooked. Personally my favorite is Chiba-sama, but there are many girls in the group that can help propel AKB to the next level. Anyways back to Tokyo Dome, we discussed, 55000 seating for concerts, and it should be a Fri-Sat-Sun affair. Now the concept should be beyond AKB, so it doesn't look selfish but have 48G in full force. We discussed a theme like "1830m Redux: The Idols you love" So it would be an invitational format, all 48G would be invited (SKE, NMB, HKT, NGT, STU) and the complication would be invite other idol groups that are friends of 48 or even the rivals to guarantee a sellout. So Invite 46, even if they're rivals it doesn't mean we hate them, after all, they exist because of 48, so think of it as a power move olive branch of respect. Also invite Bokuao because they're new, and might not ever see the dome at least not this soon, also invite friends like Fruits Zipper & The Kawaii Lab crew, Takamine Nadeshiko etc, Rino's groups, to fill all 3 days, AKB +48G will be in all 3, and the invitationals are spread between the weekend. 55000 tickets, 33000 are reserved for 48G fans and 22000 will be reserved for invitational. Since AKB is literally friends with almost all idol groups it's a power move if they did something like this, it would command respect as one fans of other groups would be exposed to AKB when they're coming to see their groups, and maybe become fans if they aren't already. So the winners would be idol fans, it's a plus if you're fans of AKB and the invited groups. We think of as a selfless humble gesture in the sense of supporting the success of 48 and the idol industry as a whole. But then again it will be tough, you don't just go Tokyo Dome with the snap of a finger. I think Narumi and the current group with the future 20th gen incoming can pull it off. Screw golden age, it will be Platinum or Diamond age. Aim for higher, not the same.

I don’t want them to return, I want them to star anew and make a new name for themselves! And I feel like this is what they’re going for too. I think the real problem here is how a lot of people and old fans are stubborn and reluctant to get to know the new members, still holding onto what was. And it’s such a shame cause as a new-gen fan, I LOVE these girls. They mean so much to me than I’d ever thought possible. Yuiyui is the seasoned veteran with a sweet aura and a captivating gaze, Chiba is like a beautiful and stunning fashionable queen to me, Zukky is soo cute and sweet, kinda like an animated jumping melon?? (Idk how to desribe it, it’s the visual I get when I see her) Azu is so pure looking and elegant you can’t NOT look at her, Itomomo is the happy chic one, charismatic and friendly, her sense of style is really good too (and not to mention her cute alligator snout nose, it really makes her unique) Meimei is like that weird shy kid in the back of the class that you find to be really cute and likeable whence you get to know her, Sorara is just like her name, like someone soaring in the sky, energetic and light. And there are loads of members that you can get to know again as well! It’s just sooo fun 🌟 I really want more people to fall in love with them as I did, since member sales and all that is the clear money and goal since the start of AKB. I’m hopeful and can already feel the tides turning in this moment of AKB History, so I think they’ll make it 💗 There is no going back, there is only going forward !! The Golden Age will never return (at least not in the same way, the same members and same vibes won’t happen again) but this new AKB can be the Phoenix of rebirth.

Nice video. Love FFX. When he grabbed the translator to help demonstrate the scene I got weak. I loved how Masakazu described the motion capture. I always wondered what the actors did for some scenes. And how he described how they have to pretend to walk through water. Like in FF10-2 ending when Tidus walks through the water on Besaid. So I guess in 10-2 ending him and Mayuko (Yuna's actress) actually hugged for that scene. :)
