It looks like a cross, but I think it might be the back of a double sided sign indicating the end/start of a section of track where maintenence work is being carried out, a "T" made to look like a cross by the supporting post 49:47 . There is no doubt that the sheep had a lucky escape, although I also noticed the driver slowed the train to walking pace to give them chance to find a way out.

Hello Bob, Prague’s tram network is impressive, trams run regularly and they are well used. I don't know much about Sydney's old tram network, but I am aware of the stupidity of many British city councils in getting rid of their tram networks in the 50's and 60's. With all its pollution problems one has to wonder about the metal health of the morons who closed London's tram system and underground mail rail. London with all its political correctness and mainly foreign born population is an embarrassment to the rest of the country. The English language, Cockneys, Rhyming Slang, Pearly Kings and Queens, along with British History have all been consigned to the scrap heap in the name of Woke. It's warm wet and windy here on the UK's South Coast today.

I was hoping to get away with the sound swap, the all-female crew driving and looking after our tour group on this trip talked a lot and I might have caused them embarrassment if I'd broadcast their otherwise private conversations to the world. I've replaced speech with music in the past and that went down like a lead balloon. I searched through my videos to find a suitable video to extract a soundtrack from. This was the donor video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGe6koSPl8tkrc0 I hope you can forgive me for the fake soundtrack.

Prague has an excellent tram network, it would be nice if the tram operating company worked with one of their drivers or managers to produce a series of videos covering the whole network, I'm sure such videos would be very popular. I did edit this latest video with the original soundtrack, I sent it to a friend in Prague to listen to and he advised me not to release it with the original soundtrack because it would cause embarrassment. If I return I'll mount the camera on the outside of the windscreen, clear of the wipers if I can obtain permission to do so.

Hello Wayne, New Zealand is a country full of surprises. The first time I saw the SOL in 2006 trains were still running although I never actually saw one, I visited the line again in 2007 and 2009 when trains only ran at night, I still didn't see any trains. I was saddened to read that the line was mothballed after a derailment towards the end on of 2009. When I first read about the rail carts in 2012 I booked a trip over the full length of line on my next visit including an overnight stay at the legendary Whangamōmona Hotel, the line still looked in reasonable condition. I did a short trip over part of the line with my wife in 2017 as shown in this video, it was clear that the venture had really taken off with the addition of short trips and jet boat rides. Please click on these links to see my first rail cart ride over the line - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJCYZGZqg7N1j68 kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6LOkounjLl8jJI kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIK8dKOCl8iKiKc A ride through the Tangarakau Gorge in a rail cart is the nearest thing to a Jurassic adventure, only the dinosaurs are missing. Being a locomotive Engineer in New Zealand, you will be well aware that the loco crew have the best view of the countryside, the view from the rail carts is the nearest a member of the public can get to enjoying the view normally reserved for the footplate crew. If you do get to ride a rail cart over this line, I'm sure you will find it a rewarding experience. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers. Tim. PS a trip on Autsralia's Savannahlander is other awesome experience.

I walked parts of the old track bed 50 or more years ago with my grandfather, never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to be able to ride a train along the entire route and a bit more. Your Mum left one beautiful part of the world to move to another.
