So, does any casio watch stay glowing for 8 hours, all of them seems for like 20 min. Im not talking about the backlight.

took me a minute to get used to the bulk... i took it off roading on quads and got full of mud... it took me a week to wash the mud off the wristband

I always want GSG-100-1A3 even I'm now looking for GWG-1000-1A3. The similar look and style of GWG-1000 at less than half the price are very attractive. It can't be a substitute of the GWG-1000. But at half the price, it could be wore everyday with less stressful of damaging the more expensive GWG-1000. The biggest flaw of GSG-100, lacking of ABC functions, isn't a big deal at all since I already have G-9300 and GW-9400 as well as I will definitely get the GWG-1000 sooner or later. It's funny that sometimes I feel like the watch I really need is the cheap and simple GSG-100 while the expensive and capable GWG-1000 is just a watch for completing my collection.

but what i'd like to point out about G Shocks is this: you can never wear an Invicta or anything else again because a G Shock is so light. i guarantee if a person wears a G Shock for one year, they will never wear anything else.

I like you have an addiction to watches and have sooo many! I am also very hard on stuff especially watches but I have never broken a G-Shock of any kind. They have to be one the most solid time pieces available.

I would like to know if any of you out there have a similar story about how a G-Shock has helped get you out of a tough situation? Or if you have come across stories like this before?

I'm not a big fan of dive watches, but this one is unique. You didn't mention the MSRP on it. Guessing it's kinda high.

I have two GWG-1000 and a GGB-100. These Mudmasters are awesome! Have used them while hiking, climbing, trekking, swimming, mountain biking and still wear them as my daily wear. They have always been up to the mark. Might sell one of my GWG-1000 and get the grey and black GWG-2000 sometime soon.

I bought it for its name, the Mudmaster. I used it on my fishing and netcasting trips. Of course, mud was definitely involved on all the trips 😅

I just purchased the all black version from my local Costco. Love love love it! Lightweight, comfortable, and bomb proof. Castro's price is half of the current Amazon price. For anyone considering this item, the face is easy to read even in direct sunlight. The neon illumination is sooo cool!

I own the gray version of the GSG-100. I would have liked radio synch but the neon illumination with auto light feature is a good trade. This watch really shows its chops in the dark.

I have the blue camo paracord inox and I love it. I do wish the hands were sightly larger.

And I think with this watch the more I wear at the better I like it. As far as the movement goes it’s really good, it’s very dependable. The hacking on the other hand is something that I really like, and this watch does not have it.

I have both mud master and about 15 years ago casio was the issue for army operators and had a tracking signal installed by the military and itdid keep good time like the plastic OD Green with nylon strap and it was a wind up but kept ex lent time.I still have 2 new ones i manged to get being i was and stayed in VN 69,70 and 71 with the 101st Airborne,total time 1968-1993. Then i went with a contracting co to go over seas and come back to USA then go back and we were given SUUNTO Watches talk about keeping time to the second for years and was able to change battery your self,just a great survival watch= compass,alt for jumping even halo's and watch would tell you when bad weather was coming. Its called the SUUNTO Black core and can be bought for 120.00 new in the box. This watch also went up to the highest peak wthout missing a second. If you want to give a view thats going to keep the merc's thats rugged and will take a beating SUUNTO Black Core watch I have bought 3 and after 11 years i am still wearing the first one and i have over 50+ watches but if im going overseas which i don't anymore i will take my SUUNTO after i put a fresh battery in it. I also have been in very tight spots and after a good fight it took on NO SCRATCHES on the crystal,but don' take my word buy one and you will see. I did just buy their ALPHA SUUNTO red light for no enemy detecting the team. Just a great watch you can trust. sgt

I have 2 gsg 100’s. The black/grey and the all black. Love them both. I have no need at all for a compass, thermometer or any of the other stuff. This fits the bill for me. Great watch.

I really enjoyed your review. You mention the big Gshock anomoly for expensive models - having to guard against wear, scrapes dings etc due to their high price. Big Gshocks like Mudmaster & Gravitymaster will attract bangs & knocks due to their case thickness/width. I have thought about picking up the model in this vid - I don't need a compass, barometer & altimeter. The GWG1000 & 2000 are too far into the luxury price range for me to use as an everyday watch. This is a sensible modest & underrated Gshock.
