I just saw this tour, at Saratoga Performance Art Center. Sounded like what I expected Deep Purple to sound, especially at 50 plus years. Still good show, but it makes you feel old and young.

Is it just me, or are they playing “Minority” and “Brain stew” at a lower key than they used to?

When he mentions Jeff Beck @37:00 you can here some dumb woman in the crowd and several other people chuckle and get excited like they thinks he's there... when he died in 2023. Durp.

They were outstanding!! And Billie Joe was right, it was a beautiful night. So happy to have seen them again, and so close to home this time around. Green Day is the best live band in the world!

I've been following DP very closely, no wonder as it's my favorite band since 80's. SM saved the band when ho joined the band. And now Simon McBride does the same thing. It's a band thing, and not only a guitar thing. 🙂

Best show of my life. I don’t know what could possibly top it. I made it all the way to “Homecoming”-and then it was just waterworks 😭 for that song, “Whatsername,” and the beginning of “Bobby Sox.” I felt like a kid again and sang along with every song in the pit with some of my best friends from grade school.
