I really believed they meant it. And they believed it too at the time.

Do you have the Grass Roots performance on this episode?

I don't think Jimmy expected that last, "Ha, cha, cha." Cher is fabulous and has always appreciated the stars who paved the way and who she saw do such great things in the movies, on stage and on tv when she was growing up.

If you’re like many people who think these two both had bad voices, listen to the original version with the good singers.

Cher wrote this beautiful song from the bottom of her heart, and it’s truly one of her most powerful and beautiful performances. It’s a shame that she didn’t write more of her own music throughout her career. It’s not known by non Cher fans, but she is a gifted songwriter.

I am a huge Phil Spector fan between the three of them that made that song magical Sonny and Cher. Oh wow

Sonny produced this, not Phil. As you can hear, he learned a lot from Phil.

The Beer jingle was written first by Steve Karmen, then Jerry Foster and Bill Rice stole the melody. First Recorded by Bob Luman in 1970 changing it to "When you say LOVE". Recorded by Sonny & Cher 1972. Yes ..... I have WAY too much free time on my hands. 🤓

Em 1965 eu tinha 16 anos , quando fui a uma festa de um grupo de adoscentes como eu. A festa tinha uma característica impressionante. Não havia luz nenhuma , escuridão total. No tato , consegui encontrar uma menina e com ela dancei JUST YOU. Jamais esquecí da festa, da menina e da música.
