It only came with the spacers, but depending upon where you order it from they'll set you up with spindles center section etc. ATV Galaxy is what I use they had everything. Lone Star racing also has a ton of stuff directly. I used ATV Galaxy because at that time they had better prices. Not sure about now. Let me know if any other questions

If I were to add a 250 amp alternator, would i need an upgraded in line fuse?
@MotoXr917
@MotoXr917 25 күн бұрын
That is a super great question. I asked the manufacturer the same thing because I thought to myself what's the point of upgrading the wire when you have a fusible link that is so small/current limiting. They said just get rid of it. No need for fusible link.
@MotoXr917
@MotoXr917 25 күн бұрын
Been working great since I installed it. No problems at all. Guess kind of makes sense as well as everything else is fused so the fusible link from the alternator is redundant.

the ball joints are tapered, they self center in the spindles, you cant adjust it. The lowers are also fixed to the angle in the arm. again, cant change.

Hello, thank you great information. I use the 3M 233 mostly outdoors taping, hot conditions, keeping underlying paint for headlights. I want to use the best practice to protect paint, I’m afraid especially high-end vehicles. Is there a product to put on the paint underneath the 233 first?Like 3 AM adhesive removal to protect it more. I’m afraid of shading, discoloring specially with the heat. I clean area , I spray water, then tape, spray water again and remove it 45 angle. I wet sand. Trying to reduce the risk of adhesive bonding as much as possible. What else should I do? If something happens, I wanna be able to say I have the best safest procedure and technique. Thank you. I appreciate all your knowledge.

Great question and thanks for checking out the video. Your process sounds pretty good,. One thing I have found that dictates more than anything how well the tape comes off is that it's removed within the time frame the tape is designed which is not very long / a few days. Also be very careful of placing over fresh paint. I have not been in the habit of putting anything underneath the tape to help it be removed any easier and do be a little bit careful with some of the adhesive removers as they can be sort of harsh on paint. Historically if I have additional adhesive that is sticking(tape did not come off evenly) and I want to get it off and I'm not going to be repainting or anything like that then I will use a silicone-based product like wd-40. Seems to be pretty gentle on paint surfaces. However would not want to use that if any additional adhesive products are going to be used or paints etc. I do clean as well before I put the tape down. 233 plus just works really amazing and I've always put it just over the paint. All that said that's my advice based on experience I have no formal training and paint your body work, but thanks again for checking out the video and let me know if any other questions

TSP is not a company I would recommend. Last year I picked up a new XC 250. I ordered some parts including a TSP head, planning to build a bike over the winter. I then had an opportunity to pick up an xc300, which I did and subsequently sold the 250 still in the crate. I emailed TSP asking if I could exchange the head(still in the unopened box)for one for the 300. No reply. I emailed them again a week later stating I would pay any price difference as well as shipping both ways. Noreply. I emailed them a third time a couple of weeks later. No reply. They simply do not care about customer service.

I work in the powersports industry and sometimes when customers email me the emails get kicked into the spam folder and I end up finding them months later which sucks for both the customer and myself. I hate to have a customer feeling like im blowing them off and im sure TSP would feel the same way.

Another plastic gizmo that will fail and cost hundreds of dollars just to buy another one soon. Ktm is getting rich off this. More to go wrong means more will go wrong. Every rust repair I ever seen where people didn't use fiberglass filler over the welds always failed after 1-2 years showing rust bubbles. And when using bondo body filler you have to use a sealer or epoxy primer over any bare metal otherwise it will always rust through. I tend to use more bondo fiberglass filler as the base filler and once close to the needed level then prime the surface and add your body filler I then to thin my stuff with fiberglass resin to make it a lot easier to spread and reduce pinholes.
@MotoXr917
@MotoXr917 3 ай бұрын
Yes, is a good point. That said I’ve had pretty good luck with the higher end fillers like Evercoat. Some of them like Bondo are a little more porous and can delaminate and take on water a little bit easier. But that said your approach may be very good and appreciate the feedback. Hi Steve yeah that's a good thought. Could also work. Does a paint booth have to be air tight?
@MotoXr917
@MotoXr917 9 ай бұрын
Not necessarily completely airtight, but the path of least resistance needs to be the air filters, not some cracks in the wall were dust and contaminated air can come through. In other words would avoid any gaps large enough to see light through or any significant air flow. If there is could just use some silicone or caulking to seal that up as that could be an entry way for dirt and dust etc. Great question let me know if the answer makes sense. Thanks for checking out my channel.

For the fenders there's a pocket between where the inner and outer fender meet where salt road debris and water are prone to collecting. That can get there from in front of or behind the wheel well or through the stakeholds in the bed. The rocker panels have holes on the inner portion of the inner rocker panel that allow road debris water etc to get into those. Those can be sealed off. Unfortunately no great way to fully seal off the fenders, but rigorous attention to metal coating can be helpful there. Hope that helps let me know if you have any other thoughts or questions

Hi Steve, I had had suspension and linkage and all that stuff apart so I can make sure everything was greased and torqued and such, but have not had any of the front part apart yet. I did notice though if you do have the manual still maybe beneficial. Although it does not actually show instructions on how to do that, does have torques and diagrams to show what goes where etc. Track if removed does need to be realigned , but the belt and drive pulleys I'm not totally sure about. However if like a snowmobile should go back together all the way it came apart without any need to move things side to side/realign etc other than backtrack adjustments with the adjuster screws. Sorry don't have a perfect answer, but feel free to shoot a comment on one of my videos with questions or can even send pictures etc and I'll try to help if I can. Hope it goes well and you can get out there this year. Thanks for checking out my videos, Chris [email protected]

Yeah they have some nice stuff. I think the Elka fives can be a little cheaper through others. I have seen good prices on ATV Galaxy as well as LSR. Houser racing probably one of my other favorite brands.

@@MotoXr917 most of what I order comes from atv galaxy. Their package deals are hard to beat.

Been eyeing the elkas for a while, wonder if you had any before and after comparisons on the ride quality over OEM? Was it noticeably better?

Yes it is a night and day difference. Although came with the adjustable shocks, elkas are way better. Elka Threes are quite good but fives have a little bit more adjustability. Definitely recommend however I don't have yet hours on big jumps as winter time in Wisconsin had done a few smaller doubles as it's somewhat snowy and slippery, but so far feels great.

Plan to do some follow-up videos in the spring once I'm able to take it off some of the bigger jumps

I got mine at auto body toolmart, but would recommend waiting till it goes on sale as they are pretty pricey. If you need one right away or don't want to wait till the sale, could just do Google search. If you enter a search of "Blair spot well drill" that should get with you need. Thanks for checking it out and let me know if any other questions. Thanks, Chris
