The communities on NLs South Coast are truly a piece of paradise on Earth. I taught school in Grand Bruit (now resettled) and it was a magical and magnificent adventure and experience!

You cannot book ahead of time just try to be there early, sometimes it’s not busy at all but other times it can be, so I suggest being at the wharf around 11 am. Any other questions feel free to email [email protected]

My grandpa was born in Francois, NL in 1931. He always spoke so highly of his childhood growing up here and how much pride he had in where he came from. One of my top destinations to visit is Francois in his memory. Thank you for uploading these videos showcasing Francois for those of us who have not yet had a chance to experience this in person.

Francois is my mother's home town! i was in Francois in 1995 and again in 2013. Amazing place. I wanted to see where my Grandfather and Grandmother was buried.
