IR function for these cameras SUCK! If the camera faces the siding of your house or any object in the way the IR function stops working????? Swann engineers need to be fired over this one period! How stupid!

hated it, uses it's own app instead of standard yale home app, so hard to connect to the internet, doesnt use standard methods like wifi to wifi or bt, and uses a stupid bird chirp to connect to wifi.

Had several of these and everyone has been returned. Stick drift has been the main problem for me and now i’ve lost the ‘dongle’ and can’t connect at all, so basically now a pointless ornament sitting under my tv! Dont buy!

I just bought one of these, the sound is not bad to be fair…not out of this world but definitely not shit, the one thing I did find absolutely atrocious is the wireless charging feature, I’ve not seen a worse feature on anything I’ve ever bought, took me almost 20 minutes to find the right spot to charge my iPhone 13 Pro. I’m literally wanting to send it back and get a refund.

I'm trying to grab and drag a document. I use PDF applications to read plans so I'm constantly working zoomed in. I'm trying to switch from Adobe since their update ruined measuring capability for me. But Adobe Customer service and help menus are superior to Wondershare. This is frustrating.

It’s simple just go to system settings, then go to collaborate controllers. Then press the home and y buttons at the same time on the controller it should connect.

i have one of these, it just died on me the other day, i don't use it much so abit miffed as to why it stopped. If anyone know how to get into one of these please let me know, i have looked ant its not easy to get to the electrics. Thank you.

@@ReadySitGeek Hey, i just found out how to take out the circuit board, (very easily may i add, i have pictures but don't know how to upload them to this reply) it seems there is a conductor or resistor that i think has blown, as its really hot to touch and discoloured.

Hmm I already have smart yale cams dotted around my house, 4 static 2 PTZ (for the cat hehe). The problem you'd have with the device on the inside window looking out is Night time. The IR reflects back off the glass, so it basically doesn't show anything but a grey screen after dark. You would also have to mount it at a height outdoors that any invaders wouldn't just rip it off the wall, as the data is stored in the camera, not in an NVR/PVR indoors. There are yale cameras that do store the info inside the property but you'd have to cable to the box. Also this type of camera cabling is pretty old school now, for outdoor cameras the BEST option is always POE cameras. One cable and loads of connectivity options. Modern outdoor cameras are also 4k or 5k video quality, can almost see the colour of their eyes :)
