I think the bass output from these monitors is great for a small home studio room. You could consider the Yamaha HS8 monitors as the drivers are eight inches instead of five. Alternatively, pair the Yamaha HS5 monitors with a subwoofer.

Hello there! This guitar is still in good shape, yes! Fretwork, fretboard and neck in particular are incredible. Had some trouble with the tone control and high e string tuning peg. Overall, a couple of minor issues outweighed by a long list of positives.

I think I played the six string in drop C# or drop C. I used the seven string guitar most likely in drop A and moved around to suit the song. Very unconventional!
@SusantBista2 жыл бұрын
Does this imply that they are essentially the same speakers, with no Right or Left as in traditional speakers? I'm new to this topic and plan to buy one soon. I've noticed that speakers sold separately are cheaper than those sold in a bundle on most websites. Thank you for clarifying! :)
@SaintGallows2 жыл бұрын
Hi Susant, that is correct. This is because you can have multiple monitors. Some people run surround sound as opposed to stereo. The price for a pair or bundle may be more as they could be 'matched'.

@SaintGallows2 жыл бұрын
Hi George, sorry but I'm not 100% clear on what you are asking. On the Scarlett 2i2 there are two inputs and two outputs. This means for example you can have two guitars plugged into the interface and the interface plugged into two speakers or monitors. If this doesn't answer your question, try rephrasing it and I'll get back to you.

New to the whole pedal board thing. How would one connect this to the effects loop on the amplifier?
@SaintGallows10 ай бұрын
Hello! I believe you plug the send from the amplifier into the pedal board in the same way you would plug a guitar into it. Then make sure the pedalboard has a return sent back into the amplifier. Depending what your loop is like, it may be MIDI based. I am not 100% sure.

It's a strange one I have to say. It seems super complex at first. I had to thoroughly read the user guide and watch a few KZbin videos to get my head around it. However, once it is set-up how you like it, it's actually incredibly useful.

Always loved Yamaha products as they seem to last a long time. I have the Yamaha HS8'S and their loud and truthful neutral monitors. Yours are decent little monitors and you can always upgrade later. So happy for you enjoy them.
@SaintGallows2 жыл бұрын
I think they're awesome! I'll definitely consider upgrading to a bigger pair in the future.
@darrenhirst99002 жыл бұрын
@@SaintGallowsI bought the HS8'S because I love hip hop and reggae and both styles use some serious bass and they handled it no problem. There are switches on the back if their too much for your small room and they defiantly do tone down the bass and back off the power. I bought the sponge as they music vibrates the speakers an it gets annoying after a while. The other way is to get some cloth like a towel and that stops it. Well you can always upgrade later on but the Yamaha HS5'S are small but do their job perfectly in small rooms and they pack a punch. When you play certain tunes you're thinking did you even master this tune? or that mastering is amazing or can you even hear how bad this tune sounds? I love mine.
