There is a reason why lights is who she is and Greta’s only claim to fame is this one song. Have you not seen the countless performances of lights singing this song with Joel? She wasn’t even lip syncing this performance, it was singing over the top of the original, but her mic was too low and the original vocals were too loud. One time this has happened lol. Nobody is trying to take credit for her vocals when Lights is such a better vocalist than her anyway.

She was singing but with the track also, Her audio is very low. There are other vids from different angles that you can hear her in the song. But yes I agree it should have been just her voice. I was there as well.

Which was before you were born I’m sure. In this video, they didn’t have the instrumental, they used the original version and lights was signing over the original track. Unfortunately the original vocals were louder than the mic and lights voice was washed out. She 100% is not lip syncing, she’s clearly signing over the track, you just couldn’t hear her voice, which was unfortunate. Know how this stuff works before posting about bs like shame on Joel. Greta even thought it was her voice backstage when it was lights signing the rehearsal LOL. Greta has a great voice, but she is clearly not right at the moment to make a big deal out of this.
