It's quite amazing that this fairly forgettable jacking house tune was put together by techno gods Jeff Mills, Pennington, and Santonio, but it took on a life of its own when the acapella was bootlegged and mashed up by the then-unknown Brit Paul Waller. His "Pin Up Girls" remix used the piano riff from "Definition of Love" by Kaos (Kevin Saunderson), which led to it being released officially on Network/Kool Kat in the UK. Bizarrely, this original version was released and credited as a solo single for Bridgett Grace by Polydor in Germany in 1989, where I presume it sank without trace. If I remember correctly, while the licensing deals were sorted out, there were bootlegs of the bootleg, and Awesome 3 did a soundalike cover version that outsold the official version even though it wasn't as good.

government don't like something they can't control or monopolise. That's why everything is somewhat commercialised garbage nowadays and the underground scene will never be recreated. I blame drugs and this culture for the fact I can't be controlled or forced into something I don't want to be a part of in today's world. Helped me see the bullshit of today.
