I have never heard of this until this Monday and I really enjoy this type of content so I'm shocked this isn't more widely talked about within the circle Involve myself. Like it has everything! A mysterious death, the meteoric rise of a company that was once brink, attempted corporate takeover, and so many clear signs (in hindsight) that this was to good to be true and it was a scam. Also the production of this is amazing, the interviews add so much to the story and the fact you where lucky enough to get those old tapes is icing on the cake. If I had to put a complaint, the opening of episode 2 made me think for a second that I had somehow switched to a different podcast hosted by the same person. However it did make sense for subject pf the episode which focused on people who believed the gold was real and those who didn't, just like the concept of Aliens. Am looking forward to episode seven and the other, I assume 3, episodes down the line.

I was an avid, ardent Joni Mitchell fan from the time of Court and Spark. I bought DJRD when it came out. Didn't really understand it musically except to say she was "experimenting" with Jazz,😊 which the media repeated over and over. It wasn't until much later, years, that I realized it wasn't a black man on the album cover but actually Joni in a kind of "drag." My lack of sophistication aside, I never once thought it disrespectful or inappropriate. I read it as an homage to the people whose music was influencing her profoundly.

Kraftwerk’s Trans-Europe Express has no business being on this list. A lot odd these choices are the correct artist but the wrong album like SZA, it should’ve been Ctrl. Taylor Swift’s 1989 is the correct album but the wrong version. I’ve been listening to the entire list and so many albums just felt bloated as well.

How can a pension fund lose everything over a stock such as Bre-X? No such fund should ever have had more than a tiny fraction of its assets in such a venture. Anything above 1% would have been unthinkable. If your pension fund loses 1% or less you should not be wiped out.
