Are the best seats around the ring? The most expensive tickets seem to be on the front side, maybe some sort of balcony?

Yea. Best seats are closest to ring. Next best option would be along the ramp. It’s nearly impossible to get first row ringside or right next to ramp, you’ll have to know a scalper of you want front row. If you don’t care to be frontside the freedom suite is pretty cool, free food and a meet and greet with a luchador during the show.

Is inside the arena cold and are they strict with recording on your phone? How long are the event ?

No the arena is very comfortable not cold at all. They’re not strict whatsoever, record all you want from your phone. You can even bring your bags inside, you’ll possibly do lots of shopping outside the arena. Events are usually 2 hours

Direct from the source. I get all mine thru the wrestlers, I contact them thru IG more often than not and set up the deal before the show. Typically they let me choose which masks they’ll wear for the show and I get them right after.

Bro I appreciate your love for wrestling and werstlers but when it comes to the mask colletion and wrestlers i feel you are way off . The most popular werstler in mexico is El Santo the Saint follwed by Blue Demon who werstled in the 50 and 60 70's follwed by many greats and then in the 60 70 80's Mil Mascaras .

Thanks so much, and I 100% agree with you. El Santo is an icon and easily the greatest in Mexico. The ranking system was limited only to the masks that I have and the story to how I got them. I’m trying to get Hijo De Santo, if I can make that happen that would immediately be #1 for me.

Hello, I have a question. I'm also from Texas heading to London in March. My plan is to catch Wrexham in March. I signed up for the international membership, which I see they only have 75 tickets set aside for each match. We're you and your buddy able to sit with each other? I noticed you can only purchase 1 ticket per membership. Also, just in case we don't get tickets out of the 75 that are available, do you have any recommendations for a backup plan? I don't see tickets available on 3rd party sights such as Stubhub, Seatgeek, etc. Any other tips, and I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

You have nothing at all to worry about. Ubers are very safe I like to check their Uber rating just to be extra sure But you will be totally fine.

If you leave when the show ends you’ll be fine. I would suggest against staying later if you’re with children. You’ll notice a big crowd as everyone wants to meet the luchadors post show so as long as the crowd is out, you’re fine. And that’s just me being hyper cautious. Arena Mexico is a big money maker for the local economy so people know to leave the tourists alone and not to tarnish the reputation of going to a lucha show at arena Mexico. Hope that helps

You won’t be able to print from home. You either have to pick them up at the pick up location, or since the filming of this video, CMLL has brought back the digital tickets. So you can use the digital ticket on your phone and get your tickets scanned at the venue from your phone.

What are the requirements for joining the lowest leagues?

Great question, I’ll answer for NPSL as that’s the league with least requirements and easiest to get into. Financially you need $20k for admission fees You need to show proof of at least $80k in capital, just proof. You can start a team of both paid and non paid, semi pro, players. As far as grounds, you need at least 4K seating and a press box They also look into your community and make sure it would be feasible to have a lasting club. UPSL is similar in requirements The lower leagues have gotten more strict for clubs but it also shows seriousness and ensures longevity

Great video. I remember seeing El Santo movies as a kid but didn't really understand it. I was aware of Lucha Libre later on as it started to influence WWF. Lucha Underground helped me understand more. I recently started collecting masks, starting with Rey Misterio of course. I found an autographed Dr. Wagner Jr. mask at the Lucha Libre Store and that was my gateway. I only have a dozen but I'm slowly adding more, plus t-shirts and action figures, of course. I'm White but just as you said Lucha has made me more interested in Mexico and it's amazing culture. I've even started learning a little Spanish. I look forward to checking out your other videos. If I can ever help you obtain a mask for your collection please don't hesitate to ask. We get weekly lucha shows where I live as well, so if you need a mask from a luchador let me know and I'm sure I can help facilitate and avoid you paying those international shipping costs! Ticketmaster had some issues with mexico earlier this year. At the time of this recording you could only use printed tickets. Since this recording they’ve updated their issues and digital tickets are back in use. So if you got the digital ticket, you’re all good to go, just scan at venue.

Mistico is there every Friday, his shop is next to arena mexico. He will be there before and after the show. Atlantis you’d probably have to meet at the parking lot after the show. There may be some comics but they’re not the original, just reprints. There’s a vendor I like going to who sells old newspaper clippings.

I think it's true what you said lucha libre makes Mexicans, Latinos, and all people with Spanish descent look good just as how Native American wrestlers like Chief Big Heart, Chief Don Eagle, and Woohoo McDaniel made them look strong and athletic.
