I love my baroque flutes, especially the feeling you have to play without keys

Maybe they should work on adjusting their "gender identity" with the voice God gave them. Just saying.

I imagine that if one blew saliva through Strads, Amatis, Guads, and Guaneris for 300 years they wouldn’t have aged well either.

Lauren Rico is a phenomenal broadcaster and host, with an impressive breadth of knowledge of classical music. I enjoy listening to her as much as the music she presents daily on WSHU. She colors the music perfectly with her words.

Excuse me? Two and a half octaves? Yes, two and a half octaves LESS than the piano maybe! But overall there are still 4 to 5 octaves available on the harpsichord. Furthermore it of course nakes a difference how hard you hit the key on a harpsichord. Musicologists found out, that there is indeed a difference of avout 5 decibels possible.

About twenty years ago I visited the house where Johann Sebastian Bach was born. And it was pretty …..ummmmm…. boring to me. In that days I did not really know who Bach was. Today there is a porcelain bust of him in my shelf and I worship deeply his music. He simply was a genius.

Love the music, but not so much your "behind the scenes" affability. This is about the classic sound, not your sound booth musings. You appear to be an overconfident bore. Less of you and more of the substance. You cheapen Bach's presence with your own self importance. You make me cringe in the face of what broadcasting is all about. Definitely a face for Radio. Radio will always change, but you're stuck with that face. Attempting to be famous much? Get over yourself and get back to what you are paid to present. If this isn't good enough for you, perhaps take up acting. But for fuck sakes get off the air. It won't be long before your sponsors see the station you work for as weak click bait and see their own brand going down the toilet with you as the travel agent. Some heads require more of a duty then to merely be used as a Hatrack. Fucking Amateur...
