There are little tabs inside the vents, you can bend them outward to grip the walls of the hole you drilled, for a snug fit.

Hi Stuart, thank you for your feedback. I tried using the tabs on the vent but found that the carpet that was installed on the side wall was just thick enough that the tabs sank into the soft piling and not the wood and the vent would not secure itself. I reverted to the thin double-sided tape as Plan B. Thanks for subscribing and watching our videos.

Have you considered splitting the heater pipe for the bathroom, which is located in the driver's side wheel well, to direct some of the heat into the living area? Our bathroom seems to be overly warm when the truma heater is running.

Hi Blair, thank you for your comment. I have been thinking that idea over. I agree with you regarding the heat in the bathroom. However, Belinda and I kind of like the hot bathroom. When we have wet towels from showering hanging in there, they dry quicker with the door closed. In the evening, we sleep with the furthest door open to allow the heat to circulate in the bathroom and also into the kitchen area. Also, at my age I get up a few times in the night to hit the bathroom and like the furthest door is open and I don't have to fiddle to open it. I was looking to see if maybe I can find an adjustable vent to regulate the heat in bathroom. I have seen on Facebook where someone added a duct splitter inside the driver's wheel well and diverted some of the bathroom heat out to the driver side seat enclosure.

Hi Sam!! Thank you for the question! When we started out I would take the dogs for a ride every day just through the neighborhood or to the park so they would know that the van was fun. It took Freya a little longer to get adjusted but eventually she got better. She whines when she gets anxious. This is a great process of desensitizing them to the feel of the ride and the noises. Lots of praise and treats for a job well done. Consistency and patience. If you have anymore questions please ask away❤️🐾.

@@minicoachlifestyle Helen of Troy drives like a dream! So long as I keep in mind that she's a fully loaded 1 ton high roof commercial van. I need to remember that she's not a sports car and keep down the speed going into the corners... It does feel top heavy though, if that makes sense?

I want to share some information. I also have the same RV model and I found out it’s very rough riding in the back, but I added a Hitch storage box. The StowAway Max Hitch Cargo Box with the Swingaway Frame and a 7 inch extension to the Hitch because I have a bike rack on the back door that folds down and it improved my ride so much thanks for the videos

We had the exact same problem in November of 2022. Also had our combustion motor replaced but at the dealership and it took them 3 weeks. Wish we lived closer to Truma. They knew it was an issue in 2022, so in my mind it should have been fixed before you bought your Nova.

We stayed at this campground in 2019 on our way home from a trip to see family in Michigan. We wanted to stay there last year on a return trip from Michigan but didn’t know how to get there because the exit was closed due to construction. It looks like the bridge is new? Might be a stop on the way to the coachmen rally.

Hi Anne, it is a nice place to stay. Belinda and I love it there. Make sure to bring bikes, they have great biking trails. If no bikes, no problem there is plenty of walking trails.

That valve for the freshwater tank that’s not visible, it would be helpful if you said you were turning it to be parallel or perpendicular.

Hi Anne, thank you for your feedback, I agree the view of the freshwater valve is hard to see. However, the valves on the Coachmen in the parallel position is always "on" and perpendicular would be "off". The problem I have with You Tube is that it is not easy to edit any videos once they are published. What they do, is delete the one I have up and then make a new video published on the new date it is released. The issue is I would lose any comments that people had on the old video, it does not transfer to the new one. Thank you for being a subscriber.

What was Coachmen's fix for the interference of the sofa actuator cutting into the Truma supply tube? I have a similar interference where the pivot bolt is cutting into and through the supply tube. I have a 2022 Nova 20c Li3, which is out of warranty. A picture of their solution would be appreciated. I follow your channel and enjoy the videos. Thank you

Hi Dave, thanks for being a subscriber and your comments. The fix was they added a black wire tie around the tube and secured it another object to the floor. It pulled the tube down away from the ball screw which was good for me. I tried to include a picture of the fix on this comment, but You Tube won't let me paste one in this comment. Thank you for being a subscriber and your comments. Thats a great question. I felt for a one-year warranty it was best to go to Coachmen. Jake our technician told me that he would repair what was on my list and do a cursory look over other items that were not on my list to make sure all things are ok. I would ask Coachmen directly if they feel your RV dealer would be good to take your unit to. I contacted Coachmen directly and they had me fill out a form that they sent me to list my items for repair. Then after they received them, they set up my appointment. Durning the time of appointment date, if anything else came up I would get in touch with Miranda at Coachmen, and she added it to the list like my TV reception issue and they upgraded for free my antenna. If Coachmen is too far from you then dealer might be a better choice. My wife likes road trips and Coachmen was approx 2 hours 40 minutes away. There is a great bike path nearby.

We love lighthouses. You have seen some really nice ones in Michigan. It sure is nice to have individual shower houses. We like it when we run aross them. Arrow appears to like the water about as much as Nikita 🤣 We love how you put out the wooden crosses. We love traveling on the weekdays. We have found that Wednesdays are one of the best travel days. @@blairmarkus3416 Hi Blair, yes it is. Belinda and I were at the Coachmen center about a week ago getting our coach 1year check up. There was another class b next to us and they were there because they had awning issues. What they found was they did not ever change the batteries in their wind sensor and the batteries corroded. I figure if I replace mine every year like we do smoke detectors I will always be good to go.

@@blairmarkus3416 Took my 2023 I scheduled the 1 year check up in April and had it done on Sept 9th. The items that were addressed: 1. Truma flexible heater duct hose from Truma under couch rubbing on Ball screw of couch as it move up and down. 2. Shower head in bathroom would not extend long enough to be put in shower holder. 3. Check on awning recall. Found that it was ok and had latest mod. 4. Felt on back of sink was coming loose. 5. Existing tv antenna was replaced with new style and taller one. The existing one I could not get good tv reception. Since the upgrade, no issues in getting channels. The taller antenna is still lower than the height of the air conditioning unit. This antenna was replaced under warranty. 6. The technician also inspected all caulk joints and reapplied new. 7. The tech also told me that he was going to do a general inspection on other items that were not on my list. He was going to check electrical connections as well. We also used their free camping area on site at Coachmen. It has 30 amp service and shared water. There is also a dump area. It was quiet and Belinda and I walked the Pumpkinvine trail close by and had some nourishment at the local DQ. The technician met us at the campsite at 6:30am and got all the work done by 2pm. The only thing I would recommend if you are on site for service, those customer service facility has no vending machines. Bring food. You can make coffee on site. The lounge is comfortable and they have WIFI. There was a catering truck that did show up at around 12 noon

Generator still running good? Our 2800i has started stalling. The service bulletin mentions possible leaking gas from the old hose but not stalling or vapor lock. Thanks!

Hi Jim, as of right now I have not had an issue after the service call at Cummins almost a year ago. Frankie is one year old with us. We had to use the generator last week in Shipshewana, IN for almost 2 hours because the entire town lost power. I will have to keep a watch on this item you brought up. Thanks for tuning in.

Hi Blair, thanks for your comments. Thanks for joining our adventure. There are definitely positives of Starlink as well as some negatives. I weighed both and Starlink is still my choice. We were just camping in Shipshewana this Labor Day weekend and the entire city lost power. They were thinking it was going to be 7 hours before it would be restored. Lucky for us it was only 2 hours. In that time, the campsite that we were staying at the wifi did not work, and some campers were leaving because they had no generators to stay cool and keep their refrigerators cool and no wifi signal and cell phone signal was speratic. I have a generator so no issue with power and Starlink was working like a champ.

Hello. Great job on the install! As a Nova 20RB owner we are installing the landed gear mount also. My only question is, where did you get the upgraded black rim from? We have the upgraded rims with the Firestone tires and Coachmen wants a ton of money for that rim. I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me where you purchased yours. Were you ever told how to pronounce our reservoir? You were close to driving by my home! We order from Circle Pizza almost weekly. Try Tark's Pizza in Galveston, Indiana next time. As you can tell I'm from the area! Cassville is where I grew up. Go down 431 and you will pass by it. I'm closer to Vermont now. We have an elevator with several dryer bins. The old covered bridge that went over Kokomo Creek/Réservoir is now in Highland Park in Kokomo. Have a nice time camping in my neck of the woods. Need a place to park your camper for a spell, just let me know. We will figure out how to hook you up on our 4 1/2 acres! Take care!

Can you please post information on the Govee temperature & humidity monitoring system. Does the WIFI in the van connect to a host internet connection using the extender mounted to the coach roof, or is it a stand alone subscription service through a wireless provider? Thanks!!

Hi Blair, you bring up a good idea on putting a video together on the Govee systems. the coach WIFI system that comes on the unit will be able to find Wi-Fi signals around you that you can use to connect and communicate with. There is no subscription on this item. If its free Wi-Fi, no problem just connect, however if you are boon docking there may be no free Wi-Fi, that is when I bring my hot spot with me and connect to it. The Govee system has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. When no Wi-Fi exists, I can get close to the component, and it will display on my phone through Bluetooth. The units are simple to set up. In regard to Wi-Fi, it comes with a Wi-Fi Hub that plugs into a 110 outlet that I use to connect the devices together so that I can obtain info through Wi-Fi if I am not close to the components. I can set up alerts on temperature and humidity. I place one in the refrigerator to check temp, I also put one in each of the wheel wells of the coach to monitor temp on cold days to make certain if I am boon docking I don't run into freezing conditions on my tanks. I also have a digital unit that tells me visually in the coach what the temp is as well as Bluetooth and Wifi communication should I be outside the coach. @@blairmarkus3416 great question. I use the stackable leveling blocks such as shown in this Amazon link. I have 2 packs of 10. I found 1 pack of 10 did not do the job when I’m in really un level ground. I try to get my front wheels as level as I can and add the stacks to back wheels. What would you say is the most 'allowable' or acceptable cant, if the coach cannot be perfectly level, and is front to rear or side to side more important? Thanks Again!

@@blairmarkus3416 great question, I try to level the back tires as best I can within 1" to 2". If it is low I use the adjustable couch in the back of Frankie to fine tune and lift it up so that it we are more level.

Belinda was not able to do many things with the small round mirror in the bathroom. So, I added the mirror to the cabinet door so she can sit down on the bench across and do her hair and makeup as well as see herself in almost in a full mirror. I got the mirror from Fab Glass and Mirror online. Here are the dimensions I gave them. Length (L): 30 5/8" X Width (W): 6 1/8" Inch Mirror Rectangle Shaped 1/8" Thick Standard Mirror Flat Polished Edges SKU: C16953973390064 I used the clear heavy Velcro strips to mount it. You might want to do something different. I will need to make a KZbin short on this as well. Thanks for the video idea.
