This is where the rain started beating us.however the odingas must have realised the mistake and kept jomo and successive governments on check.it could have been worse.kenyans owes the odingas alot.we are enjoying liberty because of the family. Neither the Colonial Secretary nor the Governor had the capacity to appoint a president. What was suggested was appointment of "a caretaker" leader to appoint a caretaker Govt PRIOR to elections that would now see the appointment of a Prime Minister who would be the leader of the party with the highest number of seats in Parliament. It was that caretaker thing that was floated to a number of prominent leaders at that time and they all turned it down.

Maliza stadium. Period. Stop bootlicking someone started it, they didn't finish, you stepped in, in the name of a new administration to continue and finish the project. This is the foolishness that had bedeviled nyanza projects. The new administration of Orengo came in and found the project almost 80% complete

Oginga was Smarter than Kenyatta but Tom Mboya was Smarter than Oginga..Oginga Elevated Kenyatta to tame Mboya and come above Mboya so that he cab be second and push Mboya to the third in command

I honestly didn't like the KANU party lead government from independence to the day Kibaki became president. There's was always an unhealthy praise to the head of state even by very enlightened people.
