And, of course, before anyone asks the fire alarm went off because someone burnt food and also the alarms that didn’t work were the ones on the second and third floor and four of them did not work on the first floor but one did work on the first floor but all of them in the basement did go off

It seems like there's an issue with one of the panel's NAC Circuit which is the reason why almost all of the alarms are not working as they really need to get a technician

Seems like they do need to call the fire alarm company and get a fire alarm technician and to look at the system because something isn’t right because none of the alarms are sounding on the second and third floor and four alarms are not working on the first floor, only one is and all the alarms in the basement are fine and are going off like they should so yes, this is some thing they need to look into

They're not mixed as they're all horns, if they were bells or voice evacs then they would be mixed and also that mixed signals is not a code violation in the U.S. because fire bells are very rare in the U.S. where's in Canada it's illegal to have mixed signals because fire bells are very common in Canada

@@captainchris2016You are correct. Imagine adding Additional Simplex 4903s, Simplex QuickAlerts/TrueAlerts, Edwards Integrities, EST LED Genesises (Horn, Speaker and Remote strobes), System Sensor L-Series (Both Xenon and LED). Imagine how much crazier this system would be.

@@Alwaysdoinit112 no they do suck actually great alarms and fire alarms are meant to loud and like the sound and they look of them also the Advance is my favorite alarm the advance is too hated on and they really shouldn’t be in my opinion as well as some of my friends opinion as well and also great fire alarm is meant to be loud and at the advance did it’s job

Looks like this system is installed by a fire alarm collector Edwards Genesis, Gentex Commander Gentex GXS Gentex SHG Simplex 4903 System Sensor Mass (non ada and ada) System Sensor Spectralert Classic. System Sensor Spectralert Horn Strobe and Strobe only Wheelock 7002s

There was one 7002 and one 7002t and it does look like collector in stalled it but Idk but we do have some Spectralert Advances as well and some classic strobes as well and a commander 1 strobe as well and a LSeries Horn Strobe as well and as well a Gentex Commander 3

05:09 That's a Simplex 4903-9146 speaker strobe doing strobe only from the strobe being wired up as its not a horn strobe otherwise you would've have said it's a 4903 mechanical or electronic horn strobe that would work using 2 wires

Yeah I think they just took the old horn out because it didn’t work but strobe works so they reuse the alarm with the strobe part
