My full respect for Mother Africa the land of Anciente Culture survive (The gold cuntinues to destroy many cultures around the world )Africans still suffer the invasion and insanity of people who looks only for treasure instead we need more projects to support Africa as a self sufficient continent education health agriculture tecnology etc ...we need to love each other and hold hands to build a better future Im from the Amazon jungle Brasil and the gold continues to destroy the indigenous people given no future for them and loosing their culture but for the one´s who buy illegal gold stay blind no words to say .

I took notice from some Ghanian legal consultants, that foreigners can only lease the land for 50 years with the option to renew, which is not assuredly. Though, still interesting to locate.

They all say they want their black American women to come and live In Ghana, but then when you come to Ghana then they start putting in your head let’s move to America, let’s move to the U.K. Ghana is hard. You can’t make something off yourself In Ghana. You can’t make money In Ghana. That is where they get you. They keep putting that in your ear until you finally agree. And once he comes to America or the U.K. and gets that green card, that is when you see the real Ghanaian man come out.

I see baby mama drama and all kinds of drama...he has small children...an ex-wife...noooo...red flag...first of all, he doesn't have papers...all I see is a green card situation and he would be living off of me because he doesn't make that much money...African money ain't like American money...if I'm not willing to do it with American men why on earth would I do it with an African man... we're good over here...I do wish him luck and I do hope he finds someone special...not trying to sound negative...I do hope that he finds his love

i Love the transparency in this video. I think its part of the process of reunification. It won't be all smooth in the beginning, it will take time...but I trust the process. We just need to be realistic to accept the fact that it will be a challenging process, but worth it in the end :) Understanding each others cultures and differences takes time.

Is the $200 whoever paid the stipulated visa fee? Why are are you making it out to seem as though the fee is arbitrary? What has skin colour gotta do with visa fees, that's the stipulated fees for visa on arrival as far as i know. There are different rules for single and double entry visas so please don't confuse yourself. If you wish to advocate for visa waivers for our brothers and sisters from the diaspora, especially those who want to take advantage of the return, by all means go for it and you have my full support. But to attack a visa system already in place for every visitor to Ghana especially someone who "thought" they could do a double entry with a single entry visa is so unfair.

Thanks for your video. I understand your concerns and think disaporans have organisation that can address this properly to the minister of Tourism and the president and the matter can be treated than better yelling if you can write to them or attend their meetings. The person was supposed to respect the immigration rules of single entry visa. Ghanaians and most africans pay for visa fees at us embassies and have to wait for years before interviewed and most of them are refused and no refund on stupid reasons .as a matter of fact Ghana had to deal with American citizens on equal basis as overstaying of 6 months with 5yrs us visa means you can never enter they again BUT I believe that african Americans should be exempted from visa to all african countries. Take it cool.

As much as we complain about paying for visa, which I agree with you, Ghana desperately needs the foreign exchange! The economy is struggling just like so many other African countries. Maybe when the economy improves, the government might consider reducing it for diaspora.

Folks we need to take our emotions out of this. There is a thing called geopolitics. At the end of the day we are Americans. Let's look at South Africa for a moment. Although you can enter South Africa visa free you can only stay in the country for 90 days. Now with the war in Gaza and SA taking Israel to the ICC the US is threatening SA with sanctions and SA is put a tap on granting US citizens with permanent & work visa. After the election there is talks to make US citizens have a visa before entering SA. In short as much we are African we are also Americans which comes with the pros and cons.

it's not realistic for non-black countries. You can't issue visas to a segment of a nation. It'd have to be for the entire country. And the only way African countries agree to that is if the US does the same - which it won't.

Nope. US citizens do not need visas to go to either Morocco or South Africa. Both countries have 10 if not 15 times the number of tourists than Ghana. Both countries did this because they have very mature and very large tourism industries as a percentage of their GDP. This is not that difficult to do.
@SteveN-yr4kf
@SteveN-yr4kf Ай бұрын
@@rositascarborough5751 it's not a question of difficulty though. Every country has their demands. Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania have large, mature tourism sectors but require visas from Amercians. In Ghana's case, if you look at the foreign countries they allow to enter without visas, it's clear they want reciprocity.

Why don't you go directly to the government instead of putting these videos out because they have no effect on anything other than likes. I any think we're expecting too much from Ghana, it going to take time to achieve this they haven't even done this with other neighboring countries in Africa.

Cape Verde, you can own land and stay, but the language is different. Senegal has cheap healthcare cheap ultimate cheap medications. You can own land and stay. What is the different language Gambia? As far less developed, the roads are very terrible. You can get stuck easy, but you can only end not least and you can stay there. Also, so there are other alternatives close by Sierra Leone is great, but you have to prove a tribal connection to own land. Liberia has always been a place of return, but not as developed and the people are kind of simple acting like Ghana.
@tyronegreen2412
@tyronegreen2412 Ай бұрын
I guess you're finding out and letting other people find out and figure out nobody wants us right now. Maybe Sierra Leone, if you can prove through African ancestry that you are from one of the tribes, you get citizenship there, but you still have to pay about $6000 for the process, but we've just been bastardized and it's very sad. I have a little house in a warm state in America and I'm going to complete my Android pool before I MakeMyTrip to Ghana and build my small house. So if I'm all the way frustrated I can come back and get in my inground pool and just take it as a loss. Being my trip to Ghana and my attempt to connect. I'm tired of losing losing and being rejected. But I am going to give it a try and see how it goes. And I'm very proud of you and I admire you for all the things you've done towards, letting us know what's going on and setting an example and going to Ghana.

Sister, they would do it, but the white countries would put so much sanctions and just destroy the country and the economy they want to connect. They don't have a problem but they are scared of the repercussions, Europe and United States will give them. The European countries have them by the throat. We would be better off asking America to request it from Ghana. Than to ask Ghana directly.
