Toujours autant d' émotion en regardant pour la énième fois ce film. Vanessa Paradis sublime et Daniel Auteuil prodigieux. La chanson participe pleinement à l' émotion. L'un de mes films fétiches

This scene is chopped up here, but what made it so powerful was Gina first telling Paul how he has a safe space to say anything without judgment, and Paul, without even acknowledging what she says first, just jumps right to "I love her". Lands like an anvil.

Magnifique ! Sublime ! Avec Daniel Auteuil et Vanessa Paradis on vit des émotions intenses, bouleversantes, quelle intensité en images et en musique. Film absolument poignant avec cette chanson inoubliable également de Marianne Faithfull. Patrice Leconte merveilleux réalisateur, scénariste, je l'adore. MERCI, également pour le partage.

Healthy and respectful boundaries ... maybe for the first time. I love Dianne Wiest's "Gina" but for him, as Adele point out, she has served many roles for him and his now ex-wife. Unsure how much their transference and boundary issues has been helpful for him.
