Yeah, I remember I had trouble with that level as well when I played it casually. The rolling barrels are best taken care of by doing the special attack which is easiest if you set it to A in the hidden options menu. If you play as Haggar I find the punch-punch-suplex move real helpful, which is performed by just punching repeatedly while holding up or down. Other than that it's mostly a matter of learning the patterns of the baddies and when it's fine to grab them and such and knowing when they are likely about to charge. Oh, and don't be afraid to use the special move pretty much as soon as you get hit just a single time. Getting them off you that way and losing a little health from that move is better than getting combo'ed which often is the case if you get hit once.

Thank you! And no, I wouldn't have. 😆 About picking items up... I can't remember that I anywhere in the run really went out of my way to pick something up, except maybe for fun health refills. But regardless the reason is to decrease lag which is like the biggest culprit of this particular game. You can often see me mashing a button but all the inputs are being eaten and it results in Haggar doing nothing. I'm blaming multiple of the deaths on this fact.
