I blamed the director Mark Robson for firing her because he & 20th Fox never intended to have Judy on the picture, they were only using her for publicity for the picture. She was paid $50,000 for 1 weeks work.

With the rediscovery of so much lost footage from films from more than 100 years ago I want to know why Fox/Disney cant find this number as it was originally filmed. Ive been waiting all my life to see it. It HAS to be in a Fox vault somewhere. "Together wherever we Go" the other famous lost footage from "Gypsy" has been found, but what about this number ? I dont believe someone chopped it up into bits when Zanuck decreed it be cut to shorten the film which is one of the wickedest cuts of any movie musical.

How come this my first time seeing this!!!!! I’ve sung this song many times but never like that!!!! Simply amazing. I loved how she made it her own. Omg what a powerful voice!!!! Not an easy song to sing.
