The only thing I hate about this is he not only deals double masks, but you literally cannot gain any soul except for the limited amount of time his head is exposed. Which isn’t much . He would be so much easier to beat if they didn’t completely can the idea of healing with this fight.

Second stage is killing me. He sends out more than two projectiles and if you’re close enough to hit him you can’t dodge them. Assuming this was a change since the video is four years old. The devs changed most of the fights since then.

People kept telling me that dream nailing him while he was down is a good strat, which made me spend about an extra hour on trying to fight him as i didnt know it did zero damage, and i made it through about 9 staggers before wanting to absolutely demolish my table

Ok, now I'm realizing that in the Remastered version this fight sucks because those idiots replaced an effect where it's clear as day when the projectile will be launched with one that pretty much has the same size all the way and sometimes the butterfly will attack faster than usual so timing doesn't really work either. I'm trying to no hit all the bosses and I could not understand why out of all the ones that I fought up until this point, this is the one that gives me trouble. God fucking damn it...

My biggest disappointment was when I used his soul to get a not flaming sword.

It’s a shame we can’t get it, but also technically makes sense, since the flames are from what little of his powers remain(hence cinders). We don’t really have that. Still total cock block of a fire sword.
