One detail i noticed is that when your character isn't in combat, they have their weapon down like they did in gow 1 and 2. Neat feature, imo that early gow 3 had, I wonder why they removed it in the final build.

Don’t know how true this is but a friend I had at epic at the time told me there was once a dlc being worked on that was a 2 player mode where you had a base and every night you would do a small 3 minute challenge to upgrade it and then defend it everyday from a horde. Do you have any footage or info on that?

"I'm going home Marcus" --- oh man.. they should have kept that part in. That line hit harder than Mike Tyson. They could have cut the zoning out and repeating the dialogue from the grave site cut-scene as they did. Instead they could have just had that previous scene make a stronger point of "home == dead" to achieve the same emotional effect.

imagine battle royale or big team battle mode... people are close minded and wanting the same thing over and over and over...

This concept was essentially given new life under the coalition with Sires and Pouncers.

The "Battle of Ephyra" stuff and the bank vault looked awfully familiar. It's pretty clear that that stuff was incorporated into the RAAM's shadow DLC and the characters swapped out for what we got to play through as Barrick et al. The battle of Ephyra becomes the battle of Illima, Anya as sole survivor in the bank vault becomes a young Jace Stratton in the vault etc.
