That is a cool find. Test them just to have the pleasure to hear that vintage truck sound. You need a battery . Using cables you could put them in series and use a 12 V battery. But they would need to be insulated from the common support.

@yvesderyckel45002 жыл бұрын

Hi Mo, thanks for your message. You cannot find many radio chatters as the recorders (wire) were not so common during WWII. And very heavy ! Here you can download a set of recordings. www.dropbox.com/s/55xlde7fftvamja/Military_Radio_Chatters_MP3.zip?dl=0. I like the call for artillery which seems to have been recorded during a WWII training ! You can also find many recordings from the Vietnam era, but many of them are from Huey helicopters conversations. Also many recordings from the Awacs aircraft. Not exactly the Battle of the Bulge. Perhaps you could record radio traffic from movies... .

The mp3 circuit does not make use of any original component of the device, except, the switch coupled to the main volume potentiometer, the receiving cell in the handset and the phone jacks. Bonjour, Est-il difficile de réaliser ce montage ? Quel matériel avez-vous utilisé ? Merci 🙏
@yvesderyckel45003 жыл бұрын

Why do you say that? The guy, i.e me, who is restoring stuff like that (forums.g503.com/viewtopic.php?t=247961) , would certainly not simply repaint a vintage horn. See also here for that horn : www.avi-plus.com/repair-tips-forum/mechanics/tips-related-to-mechanics/inside-a-vintage-from-the-30-s-sparton-twin-horn.html#2775. Once you have to cleanup the contacts, removing rusty magnetized particles, you need to slightly readjust the tuning screws. It's rather crtitical to tune to a peak sound. Yves
