This is great! Thanks for capturing it ... well, mostly the first half 😀 I knew the hill out of Troybilt was going to be tough, but I wasn't prepared for how rolly, windy and rocky the final descent to the finish was. Even with sunglasses, my eyes were fried at the end. I would definitely do this race again. Well done on your second ultra! Good luck getting into OCC. I missed out this year -- even with five stones. I'm doing Speedgoat in a few weeks and then Kodiak 100k in October. I may try for OCC again next year or face my fears and try for CCC.

Great review. Just a question, maybe I’m doing something wrong: I tried to put in the back pocket a 500 ml soft flask but it kept on bouncing while running. How did it work for you?
@Wanderlust0734 күн бұрын
Still like them? I had to put lock laces on since the factory laces kept coming loose. Also seems impossible to get a reliably snug fit on both feet consistently every run. One heel or the other feels loose. Super cushy but I’m about ready to turn them into pricey shelf ornaments for the constant minor aggravations. Wish the speedcross came in a 6mm drop.
@CoryGrasser4 күн бұрын
I do still like them. But I do have the same complaints as you do. Laces 😢 loose, and I have to tie them down twice, or they come loose after a mile or so. Great foe my last two ultras but after my next one I'll probably try to find another ultra shoe from saucony that will work for me.

Great video!👍 Im looking to buy this belt and want to make sure I get the right size. Did you measure your waist to get the best fit, as Salomon suggested? You've gone for "Small". What size is your waist?
@CoryGrasserАй бұрын
I appreciate you checking out the video! I did measure. I have a 29 inch waist, but I got my hips from my momma. Lol. I usually wear a size 30 pant or shorts so the small fit me very nicely. Nice and snug, but in a good way. Hope this helps!

Snowboarded Brighton for the first time a few weeks ago. LOVED IT! Like you said, the variety of terrain, I loved the trails in the trees, and the beautiful tree lined runs off of the Snake Creek and Crest Express lifts. I will be making my way back there (from Florida) next Spring for sure! Watching your videos will hold me over til then!
@CoryGrasser2 ай бұрын
I'm so pumped that you had fun there. And even more that you watched some videos. Means a lot. Absolutely love Brighton. Some of the tree runs out there do not make it seem like a little resort. A little bit of everything at this Utah Gem! Have an awesome weekend!

I love snow and i miss it. You are lucky ❤️in new york it is sunny but windy ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Summer is terribly hot, winter rain wind no snow at all , spring - wind wind snd cold wind. The only two months that is good september and October.

How do these compare to the Calderas? I’m looking for a relatively cushioned trail shoe that will fit my narrow heels but be roomy in the toe box. My peregrines toe box is too cramped and they aren’t as cushioned as I’d like, would the Xodus do the trick?
@CoryGrasser2 ай бұрын
I personally haven't dabbled in the Calderas but it is a shoe I would like to try. The xodus ultra 2s are great for the soft feeling underfoot but the heel is still held down well just like my peragrines. Love the extra toe room also in these shoes. No complaints personally except for the logo on the sides that keeps falling off no matter how many of these shoes I get. Hope this helps!
