cheers bud that was a great video! I'm an investor and I hang out with investors. Not big shots but investors and we talked about that and everyone talked about Grant. I want to have my own space but not for long. I move a lot so I'm gonna buy something for myself and when I'm sick of it just rent it out. Really valuable to me !

You might want to redo this video or delete it as it is misleading. Only if you open your Show More text do you mention the $11,580,000 million exemption for 2021 before there is any tax due. Also you neglected to mention the the need to file Form 709 for gifts over $15,000 for 2021.
@rfarchives33202 жыл бұрын
As I state in the beginning, this video is commentary on the concept of the gift tax. It's not financial advice, how-to, or specifics as you imply. According to the IRS, you always owe tax. Don't they say you have to report either way? The rate on the tax may just happen to be 0% by their rule (subject to change).
@Corkfish12 жыл бұрын
There are no taxes on gifts unless you exceed 12 million dollars. You merely report them on form 709. No taxes are due.
@rfarchives33202 жыл бұрын
You can choose to pay the gift tax each year instead of having it deducted from your "lifetime allowance". If you choose to have it deducted, taxes of 0% are due.
@joemunch582 жыл бұрын
The gift tax is due. You've confused it with use of the estate and gift tax credit.

@@Corkfish1 Line 19(6) on the 709 shows the gift tax applicable to transfers exceeding $16,000 to any one person in any one year. Line 19(12) shows the applicable credit. No out of pocket tax is due until the credit is fully used.

No ways brother! All your videos are awesome projects that are productive and tests along with great insight on what the outcome is. I am curious on how much impulse purchases and your mood on whether or not to tip higher due to showing cash to the server. I am sure the server you feel might have a higher expectancy with cash than writing 2 dollars down on a receipt which I do sometimes or the middle percentage button.I wonder if you could save money on a mood chart marking your go to places. Whether or not you are happy with service or the quality of food is going to be good etc. 2 for service 2 for quality etc. and avoid what you have in mind for tips etc. Not sure if what im saying makes sense. I just still end up going to crappy service places but the food is always still good so I know how and what I expect to tip if i do go out. Just an overall final chart of how you felt spending cash on certain purchases vs. cc. The cons of easily accesible and reviews with cc on Amazon etc vs. not so easy cash. Like a final chart on impulse cash vs impulse on what could have been with CC. Keep going man! E-Mails! That is how I was brought to your youtube. Love your content. I am going to word of mouth more subs your way.
@rfarchives33203 жыл бұрын
Thanks brother 🙏 For me the tendency to tip more with cash comes from family. I thought it was cool when my grandpa and uncle did it so it became a thing I did. People also think, "Wow, that's a generous tip you're leaving!" and it feels good. Lol. It would be interesting to hook up brain monitors while walking into the store to pay with cash v. plastic.
