I'm pretty sure they continue to burn to death if their cores are gone. And fire in HZD is WAYYY stronger than HFW

This is such a wonderful game series! The combat system is spectacular. The world is so beautiful I'd almost like to live in it. Enemy design is awesome too.

I agree. I like the difference in combat between HZD and HFW too. One is simpler and the other Is more complex. Both are very fun

My favorite machine in HZD, I was so sad that I can't see them in HFW, but I am happy that they made rollerback which sort of give me the similar vibe somehow

Just got Forbidden West. Got to the embassy and am loving it so far, tho I gotta adjust to some of the controls. Am doing story mode. Don't think imma do the other difficulties, but this is definitely gonna be a new comfort game! :D

Hmm yeah I see some lag here and there, but honestly nothing too bad! Hopefully it'll get patched soon, but it's only been out for less than a day lol. It looks amazing, though!

Honestly, I think that may just be bc I have a PS5 Slim, the weakest of the PS5 models. But if it is bc of a patch needed, then hopefully it gets fixed soon. Agreed, it looks incredible! Def will have to be hunting some of the old machines in my series sooner or later.

just started playing and have explored almost all of the map, just defeated my first tremortusk at bulwark. and i thought taht was it. i dnt know what machine is this and when and where ti will appear but dang if you have trouble fighting it then i wonder what that is lol. i am on Vhard but i am guessing UH will unlcok as NG+

Huh... I've rarely seen this glitch. You may wanna try reloading the whole game. Just close it then reopen. Usually works if I ever see this glitch

Machine idea + new element: An Okapi like machine that has the OLD type of blaze canisters on its back, this “blaze” is actually just plant matter turned into a paste. And yknow how when you kill plowhorns it covers them in roots? That would be the same with the new element, you build it up with weapons such as: spike throwers and blast slings. The element would immobilise the machine and would be VERY useful for machines that *mainly* use fire attacks. As when the element makes the machine be covered in roots, it makes it more susceptible to fire buildup and fire damage.

It's been a while. But I've brawled Thunderjaws, Tremortusks, and some other machines using only a weak warrior bow and the spear. Maybe I'll do it again past day 400.
