What you’re seeing is a Federal Signal SPL 25 with a V1971. They are rare, yes

I'm aware. They have those and Simplex 4906-9251s all over campus. And the pull station in the start of the video is one on campus, too. Although, the elevator in this building did not go into fire service. They really need to fix that. This system is really quite an abomination as a Simplex mechanical/speaker strobe on the 3rd floor (idk which one) is mounted sideways on a double gang back box. It's also weird how they have Simplex, Federal Signal, & EST all in the same system.

@@cjelevators223 That I'm not sure of. There's literally no point to removing the button since building owners can have it turned off in normal service, but it must function when in fire service.

I went in this store during my most recent WI trip, it’s going in the very back of the store in its own mezzanine. The Dover should be staying as the mezzanines will not connect each other. There was just a shaft when I went, probably going to be months.

I found out the T-128 by brown street replaced a P-15 which replaced an SD-10 at forest park village, which used to be St. Mary's Hospital

Nekoosa dropped their maintenance contract with ECS within the last couple years. SWS has been aware of this siren since I was first hear in early 2022. Any of the old sirens still standing are left to die. This and the Banshee heard are on Wood Countys very old system with Federal SC radios that don't have a cancel tone programmed into them. The rest of the area is Two Way through ASC CompuLert as are tested before the old system is.

@wisconsinoutdoorsirens1250 I wish that Port Edwards still had the old system active. Now, they have an FS 2001-130 with an ASC control cabinet which I assume is because of the ASC system. Also, the Grand Rapids EOWS 612s are long gone.

@@cjelevators223 Yeah I highly recommend doing that. I would even recommend cutting them out of this video using the KZbin studio editor. With the way some towns recently have been a moments notice away from pulling the plug on their systems, it's better safe than sorry. Places that use FSK are much safer to upload tones of, but DTMF and two tone, super risky.

The siren's motor broke, so they replaced the motor. This was from late August of 2022. So it's been a while.

@cjelevators223 Modern FACP's have sophisticated fault handling (trouble signals) when they detect things like open circuits - such as some retard ripping a detector out of the ceiling. Plus, the CPU in any FACP going back to the late 70s will latch an alarm state to active. Extra stupid if they think they can be engineers 😭
