Absolute shit slow machine if I do say so myself.

First off. The heat of the weld would have removed the temper in the rim. Second. They did not show all the steps because they swapped rims. It is not the original. There is no way they matched the alloy of the rim perfectly with the filler rod. The weld would have been darker after machining. The brightness of aluminum especially 6061 is do to its temper. Hence t651. The heat of welding would have removed the temper. I am forced to call bullshit. I have welded and machined many many parts. You cannot get the temper back after welding. It will never blend that flawlessly. Buy another rim. It’s strength is gone after welding.
