What are the more stable and deterministic sounds? The code itself could be easily assumed to be the garbled noise

I don't know, but maybe it's some data. You can spot SID pulse+tri wave there because it's saved as is. As for other PWM-like sounds, I am not sure

Well, it's more about functionality compared to modern synths. 4 channels of sine/tri/pulse wave, 1 with possible controllable lowpass filter. 1 noise channel and 2 8-bit DAC channels. Only 7 in total

I am currently working on new song, but it ended up breaking 31 instrument limit, so when I finish the cover I will cut the song up to the point when there's 31 instrument and export it to fzt format and record a video of Flipper playing it

@ltva8781

PA6 pin is audio signal, GND is ground. I connect L (or R) contact of audio jack to PA6 pin and GND contact to GND pin. Audio jack goes into line in of my motherboard. I recorded master audio, then muted all the channels except one to caoture individual channels audio for oscilloscope

@@MrDamian1530 yes. Search for Furnace-B fork of Furnace on my github, download it, select FZT sound source. Obey the limitations: only one effect column, no more than 31 instruments, only use the effects that are supported by fzt format. Then you can export fzt file. It will tell you if smth goes wrong

Yes, because for extra noise modes, if only noise wave is playing, frequency is adjusted automatically so that the noise stays in tune

WOW i came here after watching @KYLXBN and THIS IS AMAZING! Subscribed! 0:44-2:07 <3<3<3 Please give me more! I like the bassline is very clear BTW. Why 4 resistors?
@ltva8781
@ltva8781 Жыл бұрын
Not now I guess... The Flipper tracker project is almost abandoned, I occasionally make updates to keep it and video player working on new firmware releases. I also do a little bit of coding for Furnace tracker. And of course I have university things to do...
@ltva8781
@ltva8781 Жыл бұрын
4 resistors was a hack to bring circuit current down when I was recording into mic input instead of line in (line in seems to have high internal input resistance so I got rid of the resistors but kinda left them hanging around)

What format does Flizzer play? I can see from the video it can play fzt format, but I can't find any fzt mods online, is there a way to convert songs to fzt?
@ltva8781
@ltva8781 Жыл бұрын
There is a not-so-good path of conversion from MOD or AHX to fzt through klystrack-plus. You will need to make it sound good in klystrack-plus after import, then, in case with MOD, replace samples entirely with your chiptune instruments, then export as fzt (and get rid of warnings, they can show up because flizzer doesn't support what klystrack-plus does). Then you see that on flizzer vibrato, PWM and filter may sound differently, and patch them there (this requires connecting headphones or wiring Flipper to your sound card line in, as I did). Then you are ready to save final fzt...
