I haven't been able to find this game in the wild yet
@T-PacArcade19 күн бұрын
Yeah - it's tough to come across late-release titles like this offline. Do you strictly collect games "in the wild"?
@jabbadac19 күн бұрын
I haven't really been collecting for the past 5 years, so I don't have any games that I want bad enough to order on ebay, but if saw them at a convention or a game store, I might get it on a whim.

Aaaah, Cybernoid for the NES. I had this one as a kid and definitely had a love/hate relationship with it. Some levels felt quite impossible but each one is so short, it was easy enough to pick up and put down. Thanks for the memories.
@T-PacArcadeАй бұрын
"Memories" ... or "trauma"? Haha - I can't imagine playing this game back in the 80s without save states or other cheats (unless maybe it had Game Genie codes?).
@RichardHartnessАй бұрын
@@T-PacArcade No, I didn't beat this one... until I got a game genie. Even then, it was a slog with infinite lives.

I remember this being a game included on that Commodore 64 plug-and-play joystick.

Makes sense - Cybernoid started as a computer game, so I assume it was more popular on the C64 than the NES.

There was another JakksPacific Plug n Play released in 2008 that also had Bosconian. I scored over 1 million points in Bosconian on that port when I was 12 in 2009. Don’t remember what round I made it to but it was in either the high 20s or low 30s. I still have that same unit with the high score still saved on it, and have made numerous unsuccessful attempts to beat that high score in the years since 😂

Found your channel while searching around on KZbin and I really like the video format you're rolling with, it's very creative! As for Nuts & Milk, I enjoy it for being a simple arcade-like experience but I personally prefer Lode Runner in terms of Hudson's early Famicom releases.

Yeah - lots of love for Mountain King here on KZbin. Some maniac even made a feature-length strategy video that painstakingly maps out the best routes in the game. But I don't know why I'd watch THAT when there's all of this content on "Glitch Heaven" to watch instead.

I just binge watched every video you have uploaded (so far) and honestly that was a pretty fun use of my time. There's something to hearing about these games I somehow never heard of (well, except for R-Type), hearing the commentary and those sick doodles that feels so... nostalgic. Like being back in middle school computer class and reading articles about games instead of doing actual classwork. Fantastic stuff, man
