I sure wish this was at least somewhat accurate. 1. 4 clicks of windage at that distance is WAY more than a six inch adjustment 2. The barrel of the rifle will bend as it heats up... so way more than 1 warm up shot is needed. 3. No way he would recognize a specific shooter in this scene, the best he would know is that he was watching an accomplished shooter.

I just realized that inside the range Robert was assembling an M1, or possibly an M14, while outside Tom is shooting probably an M24.

I read somewhere that Cruise was fireing a Remington 700 at Duvall's range to "put 3 in the black".
@edwarddullea60492 күн бұрын
@@adollarshort1573the M24 is the military version of the Remington 700. I’m not trying to be picky, but I believe that Martin Cash would have had an M24. Still can’t figure out the original weapon that he clicks in the trigger assembly and cocks it.

New to candle making, I have been melting my wax and adding fragrance at way too high temperatures. I was heating up to 185 degrees F and adding color and fragrance. I would pour at 135. Wow, thanks for the video. Going to try it this way from now on.

Best part of both Reacher movies. Tension, dialogue, deception (I like how the owner knows straight away it’s Reacher but also tests him with the Army comment). Did wonder who the fella walking up behind them for the last shot though, a red herring that it could be the guy Reachers after?
@nobodyreally46713 күн бұрын
He also needled Reacher after the first shot. "Play Ball!" - he already knew that he was using the name of a 2nd basemen from the 1925 New York Yankees.

USN 300 yard iron sights qual, you get 3 shots to zero before shooting for score. That's all you really need. Anymore "warm up shots" is a waste of ammo or a defective shooter. I don't say defective rifle, because the rifle should have been inspected and approved for use before going to the range. No alibis for loose sights or loose gas tubes.

I’m so over people complaining about Cruises character of Jack Reacher being a bad fit …. Who cares, it’s his role and his money, if you don’t like it, don’t watch it . While the new guy is a better fit for the book, we’d never have Reacher if it wasn’t for Tom.

I just caught the meaning of the, "Play ball!" at kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5-olK1_ZqtrnpY, by Duvall's character. He was subtly referencing the false name of the Yankees player that Reacher was using.

@TheTechAdmin9 ай бұрын
He didn't really STOP it from popping out. It's more so that most people pop the round. Due to the back shape on the inside, you can pop the round by simply chambering all the way back, which is what most people do. If you only cock 90%, the shell won't eject. You'll want to do this when you know you're doped into a target. Because a full cock at this distance will throw off your dope, so it's important to keep the rifle as stationary as possible so the next round goes to the exact same spot.
