I think that at least 90% of vets care only about money, "it's a business " are wise words a secretary at a veterinary clinic once said to me. She was letting me know that the vets don't care about putting your pet and yourself through hell as long as your money keeps rolling in. I've finally found an honest vet but it took nearly 20 years to find him. Remember, it's only a business to them.

Arnica Montana is a drug for pain, muscle aches etc that works fairly well. Most drug stores carry it and it's an OTC. IT WORKS WELL ON DOGS.

A $1 or$ 2 vaccine plus cost of a syringe and needle They miss out on a $35-65 fee. They are taught in Veterinary to charge as much as they can and raise their rates every year.

Its the dogs diet. Dry dog food has so much cooked out of it. Dry dog food is what vets know will keep them in business. Sad but true.

I have two Germam Shepherds, 12 years old and 3 years old, the older obe had double TPLO surgery bit is doing quite well, I will try to share detailed information as to what i give my dogs, it was approved by surgeon and our vet... Basically... OMEGA-3 Fish Oil 3x per day, once with each meal. Glucosamine Sulfate 3x per day, once with each meal. (Recently switched to Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM Tumeric powder added to each meal. Cranberry concentrate at night meal. Obviously, there are never guarantees for anything, but our last German Shepherd lived until she was alnost 14, and literally up until about 1 month before she passed (cancer) she was still chasing rabbits, she was slow but happy and playful. Our current 12 year old Geman Shepherd is also niw slower, but also playful and happy girl. We've always worried about her more due to TPLO surgeries on both knees. But she's doing quite well. The 3 year old is not getting any Glucosamine other than what's in the food yet but I'll start her on it likely within next year to two years. But she does get Omega-3 fish oil concentrate supplement three times daily, and cranberry supplement each night. Cheers everyone, much ❤ to all your beloved pets.

We haven’t neutered ours yet. He’s 2 years old and thank Hof healthy, not aggressive at all. He just wants to be friends with everyone. But what find is that other dogs are more aggressive towards him since he still has his balls. He gets attacked, and is so confused afterwards. Anyone else who experienced this?

I have a 3 year old intact German Shepherd. My vet said the same thing…..Wait 2-3 years minimum before even considering neutering. GSD’s are famous for hip problems, & she echoed the same sentiment that allowing bones to fully mature will pay huge dividends down the road. On the flip side I also have an older female Pit that I got from the SPCA. She was spayed at a couple months old as a puppy. Fast forward 9 years she’s developed incontinence as direct result of spaying way too early. Now she’s on Proin, & Incurin for life. If done correctly at 2-5 years of age I think the pros of neutering/spraying outweigh the cons.

I had a beagle that had neck problems. Vet gave me Rimidy. My dog wouldn't chew. Because he could smell it. He was put on a pain patch. It last for a week then pain came back. Rimidly cause side affects to the stomach. I had to put my dog down.

I have to neuter my 2 year old dog because I’m trying to open a home daycare. All animals need to be registered, and to be registered, they have to be neutered/spayed. My kids would never forgive me if I give my dog away to have a licensed business. So to keep him, we have to go with the neutering route. My own research results are the benefits outweigh the risks. By no mean we are being cruel to him.

MSM works wonders, I get it in drug store in vitamin section. Very affordable. No vomiting or diarrhea, like mentioned in most of the medications in this video. It's safe. Has been given to dogs and horses. I have done my research. Vets don't tell you about it. They want you to come and spend all that money. It's unnecessary.
