Is it a C3500 or K? I been considering getting one and i mostly find C series but having that 4x4 would be nice in rough weather or like in one of your vids not getting stuck in loose mud. I have driven RWD truck in snow and with no issue but some times the states would poorly plow the roads and basically your driving behind someone else tracks.

K3500! Where we are at and where I haul most loads 4wd is definitely needed! Been a good truck for me. 4wd with the NV4500

What kind of paste do you give your calves? I’ve always liked your Chevy dually and featherlite trailer. That’s a nice combo

Thank you! We use the Farmatan Gel but along with that there’s a mineral mix we feed year round. We’ve seen a massive drop in gut issues or scours. Down side is you can’t pick it up locally. We get ours shipped to us yearly. So if you’re dealing with gut problems and stuff in the cows along with the calves I highly recommend looking them up!

That would be pretty awesome! But if anything with how sloppy muddy it gets we’d have to run a pull behind processor on the tractor. I know of a couple guys with feedlots around us that run a truck mixer. Works pretty slick!

I aint gonna say the 454 is the best pulling gasser, but its definitely my favorite. Always predictable and never leaves me stranded. Shes a thirsty pig though!

The obs 7.3 is still down. Trying to decide what exactly to do with it as my life and focus has shifted. The dually is still running strong! Was just hauling cows with it last weekend! We’ve still got all the minis! Going to be putting together a cow focused video together in the coming weeks to get everyone up to date!

Just a gooseneck ball! Motor is all stock besides headers. Dads got a 94 454 that’s bone stock and we tow loads just like that regularly with it. In fact here in the next month I have 60 1,000 pound round bales I gotta haul home so be on the watch for that one! I run 14 rounds in a load

I have the same truck. I pulled the 454 and swapped a 12 valve Cummins. Best decision ever for that truck. Power and MPG significantly improved. Currently working on SAS with F350 axles.

If you look through my channel I have a 97 7.3 flatbed with a Dana 60. And I have full intentions to get my dually cummins swapped! Lol how long did yours take you? I have a 12 valve sitting in the farm yard waiting for the 454 to die or for me to make a bunch of money. Whatever’s first😂

@@cjfarms5600 the Cummins fit great in the OBS GM trucks. Even better than the Dodge, honestly. It took me about 4 months going slow to get it done but it's not a difficult swap.

I prefer net for hauling and feeding it just goes a bit easier. If we had a hay barn and had all of our hay fields at home I honestly think I’d like to do string on everything!

I had no idea that there was farmland in Northern Wyoming. I live in Western Nebraska, about 30 miles from Wyoming and I thought there was only farmland in a small part of the east end of Wyoming.

They are Scitoo tow mirrors I got on Amazon and then I got them paint matched! I like them, they work really well. The top mirrors shake a little at highway speeds but nothing too out of control
