Hi Mick, I have a good Idea where you lived, I am sure you often looked out your back window and could see Nephin .Very Impressive ! Looking over Rehins, Cloghens, Lough Conn, Lahardaun, and all the way to the top.. Nephin or Nefin, at 806 metres, is the second-highest peak in Connacht, Ireland. It is to the west of Lough Conn in County Mayo. Néifinn is variously translated as meaning 'heavenly' or 'sanctuary'. God Bless to you.
