Dominate with what, I only use horse archers and shields, and those two were more than enough to take down just about anything. If the heavy units became a problem, just use crossbow units as a backup unit

Also don't forget to use catapult units, they were menace to walls and towers

It sounds like you have a solid strategy! Horse archers and shields can really give you an edge in battle. Crossbow units are a great backup choice too!

I am not particularly impressed, I have to admit. You just rushed them before they could build up any meaningful defense, and with so much starting gold and resources in stockpile that you didn't even need any kind of economy or buildup.
