@@kingferg38 first clue it's not a Hellcat is the supercharger whine... Reason I said it might not even be a 392 is how much is struggling to spin the wheels... I can't make out the badge on the fender, but I've seen plenty cars with 345 badges.... You have to do a double take to see what it is 🤣🤣🤣

Do you disconnect the axles? Like the shafts connecting the wheels to the differential? Not sure if i need to get those off as well to be able to drop the drive shaft and differential case. And thank you for the tutorial as well

I didnt disconnect the axles if you need to just drop the drive shaft you don't need to but if you need to get the diff out then yes you gotta disconnect it from the axles

@@kingferg38 I managed to leave the axles in the hubs, only removing the drive shaft, muffler and sway bar. A few light taps with a hammer separated the axle shafts from the differential, then I put the new one in and put it back together. Thanks for the video again

@@kingferg38No there is no easy way to tell. It is definitely a 1968 Camaro ( no vent windows in the door as opposed to 1967 with vents) this one has the Z-28 emblems on the front of the fender's. However both items can be swapped around and faked. The only real way to tell is by the build sheet (if it still exists). Z-28 was an option number and included a 302 V8 engine. The Z-28 option in 68 was rare but in 67 was ultra rare. By 1969 the Z-28 option had become very popular and quite a few were produced. Offhand I don't remember production numbers. At one time I did know. Getting old I guess.🤷♂️
