Hi, very nice tutorial. But how do you export the displacement then ? Because when I export the textures, no more displacements are shown (I use Blender btw). All the textures are flat, they're not as in Substance Painter.

very cool!! I need some clouds for close up scenes and i think this may not be the right choice since they look better faraway :( I wish it was cheaper than $25 too...... I still would like to test them and see if they'd work but I am a broke grad student </3

Update: I got the pack, and I am happily surprised! To anyone reading this they actually do like nice up close and there are lots of options to customize each cloud. Its very easy to import and work with ((which is much preferred over fighting the volumetric cloud system))

Peter - Wonderful tutorial! I am trying to utilize the BP to cycle through 3 different meshes while in game play by using a widget with buttons. If you (or anyone has some input on how this could be accomplished hit me up here. We can take it offline or other for screenshots if needed. Thanks so much and again, great video!

Looks amazing! I recently started thinking about using UE4 to help me with backgrounds for digital art and I'm really tempted to buy this for an idea I have for a fantasy comic/series! :D I really love the look and aesthetic of Italian environments, especially since I visited Italy back in 2013 and it's still my favorite European country I've been to thus far!

Does this make the static mesh usable for a level sequence? Basically trying to get a static mesh to move and end on its own at particular timings but it wont set those starting and end points bcuz it has to be converted to a bp first, correct? Can use your assistance on this one if you dont mind.

i would love to know how you worked on this. i can't find a way to do pixel art in substance designer as its viewport blurs all the texture as soon as they get smaller...what are the settings in designer that stop the antialisaing / mipmapping whatever it is?
@QuantumTheoryEnt
@QuantumTheoryEnt 4 жыл бұрын
Set the filtering to nearest, then you'll want to dither the image. You can use the dither filter here: share.substance3d.com/libraries/24 Or, setup substance designer to emulate what Dan Fessler does here: www.danfessler.com/blog/hd-index-painting-in-photoshop

Hey, It’s me again and I bought your Introduction to World Machine Today. I have been working with world machine for a while so I knew most things but there were still some really cool tricks and techniques. Now my question. Can you maybe make a course for experienced people where you show how to create specific types of terrain that are harder to do ? Thanks Arkady

Hi Kaleb. What you see here is content that you can use to make your own game. Everything in the video is a separate object you can move to assemble your own levels using the Unreal Engine. This pack of artwork, and many many others, can be purchased in the Unreal Marketplace to use in the Unreal Engine for whatever game you'd like to make.

Hey, I've just tried this to create a giant Polyworld water mesh for an island terrain and the water just comes out black (except for the green rim, which remains green), any thoughts? The only thing I can think of is that the asset `Assets/Quantum Theory/Polyworld/Woodland/Textures/Swatch_Black.tga` was different from the one in the video (which was not found)
